benjamin netanyahu calling important early elections. vote scheduled for the fall of 2013. now expected to take place this year. it's a move that many say could strengthen his hand taking on possible nuclear threat from iran. leland is live from jerusalem with the latest on that. >> reporter: as you know the prime minister has another year on his term. it's coalition is strong so this is an election of choice. the prime minister is expected to make a referendum, go, know go decision on iran and the u.s. presidential election plays a key role here. take a look at the time line, israeli election is on september 4th, november 6th is the u.s. election. that gives a two month window if he wins reelection as he is widely expected to do it would be difficult for he has been

critical the prime minister to pressure netanyahu into not attacking because of the jewish lobby and jewish vote in the united states. two critical months in the fall. prime minister kicked off what he was calling his reelection campaign in a very highly political speech in right wing group, kind of what you expect from a u.s. president giving a speech at a party convention. he said unemployment here is lower than what it was in the united states. here in israel, there is a flip between the defense minister and prime minister who are hawkish on iran and other officials the head of the masad intelligence service who is against it. so in terms of the reelection for the prime minister to the public, if he wins september and october would be considered prime months for an attack against the iranian nuclear

race the body of an hispanic man inside a barn this morning. they are investigating the death as a homicide. they say the man sustained injuries that they believe he was involved in some type of altercation but there is no connection to the derby winner, i'll have another, who was stabled about four barns away. >> heather: manhunt underway for a suspected kidnapper and f.b.i. working to identify two people found at a home in mississippi. they feel the grim discovery could be tied to the recent abductions as joanne bain and three daughters. david lee miller has more from our new york studio. >> reporter: that search for missing mother and three kids appears to have taken a tragic turn. a jiaf from union county told fox news one of two bodies found late friday might be the missing

mom joanne bain. the body had been buried for a couple days and autopsy had taken place, no mechanics of a possible i.d. for the second body. bain and her three daughters were last seen in april 27th, about an hour's drive where the bodies were discovered. the husband is missing after the vehicle was discovered abandoned. a massive search is under way for the alleged kidnapper adam mays. may says a families friend and they are trying to determine if joanne bain left with him willingly. and friend of the missing mom she and the girls moved to arizona. arizona is one of states where authorities mays has ties, that in addition to carolinas and florida. they describe him as armed and dangerous and he may have dyed his hair to avoid police.

ousting nicolas sarkozy after only one term in office. protestors in moscow clashing police ahead of the inauguration tomorrow. they are demanding a recall following a widely contested election. a man that spent years as the andy griffith show has died. george lindsey passed away following a brief illness. >> gregg: new reaction to a brand-new survey of economists predicting the u.s. unemployment rate dropping to 7.9% by election day but some critics are saying, hey, so what? recent poll showing that 83% of voters think we are still in recession and millions of americans are dropping out of the labor market. brenda but they are joins us

live in the city. 4.7 million americans have dropped out of the labor force. is 8.1% unemployment, which we found out about friday, that not the true number? >> that the number i look at. i look at the underemployment rate, people who have either dropped out or can't find full time employment when they want to be working full time. that is close to 17%. also really important number that we need to look at is employment rate, not unemployment rate. that is 63%. that is unheard of. that is a decade low. there are so few people working and of the people that are unemployed, many have been unemployed for six months or longer. these are metrics that we haven't seen for so long so this labor market is a new kind of normal that we're having to get

used to. >> gregg: if you add it up, 27 million americans cannot find work. one wonders if traditional model of jobless is really meaningless because it fails to take into consideration the through misery that americans are experiencing? >> that is good point. when you look at traditional definition of recession which is two consecutive quarters of negative g.d.p., how many people think we are in a recession? it's close to 83%. >> gregg: put it up on the screen. we have a graphic that is pretty stunning. here the breakdown. if you add the top two numbers, it's 83%. but look at that -- 35% think it will get worse. >> right. that is what it could be, the way the g.d.p. grows is through consumer spending. if people think we are in a

recession they will not be spending because they don't have the income and traditional one source of income of wealth their home, chances are they don't have access to that. they could very well we could be going into a traditional recession. >> gregg: there used to the misery index in the '70s and it was inflation plus unemployment. now inflation, plus unemployment and precipitous drop in home values, anemic growth and mortgages which are failing. >> if you look at what the government says, government says we're not experiencing inflation right now. you go to the grocery store and you go to people who are paying for college education, you go to somebody who has got sick mother

or child we are experiencing inflation. a lot of what we're seeing is the economic, a lot of the basic economic values are changing now. >> gregg: i mentioned the 32 leading economists, it's going to be 7.9% unemployment by election day. they said g.d.p. growth for the year is going to be 2.5%. do you see any sign of growth that high? that is not very high. in china it would be 10%. >> it's not very high. it might go to 2.5%. it would have to go up 4% to take down unemployment another 1%. you know, unemployment is a political number now. i don't think even if it goes below 8%, i don't see how that is going to be helpful with so many americans cannot find the work they want. >> gregg: if 83% of americans

illegal immigrants in arizona and then sending them to texas and california before deporting them back to mexico. they say the tactic deters illegal immigrants from trying to re-enter the u.s. they say it puts vulnerable people in danger. casey stegall is live in los angeles with more. >> reporter: this program is called lateral repatriation. once it's determined that an illegal immigrant does not have a criminal background they may be eligible. this is using out of tucson border patrol sector. the number of people that have gone through the program has increased more than 120%. the idea behind it instead of returning to mexican national to the original point of entry into the united states, they are put on buses and transported hundreds of miles away to california and texas. once they arrive there they are processed and then moved back

into mexico. they say the overall goal is to cut off supply tote coyotes who are very active and aggressive in some words along the arizona-mexico border. >> these smugglers in arizona are taking the people through some of the worst things you can imagine. they don't care about them. that is the hard truth. >> customs and border protection says it reduces recividism rates. they say an illegal immigrant is 14% less likely if the resources are taken away. but some immigration rights groups don't buy the humanitarian argument by the u.s. government. in fact some say it is the feds fault they are in this situation in the first place. >> it's like pushing someone into a pool. then diving into save them and saying you have now a life saver

it stems from a 2007 incident from a child. a 62-year-old woman was mauled by two pit bulls. the daughter says she is outraged. >> it hurts so bad she can't feel or nothing. she is numb. what saved her is when she had the jacket on. if she didn't have the jacket they would have ripped her whole arm apart. they shouldn't be in this community. it's a danger to society and shouldn't be allowed in this neighborhood. >> gregg: legal experts say the maryland ruling may have a direct impact on all dog owners, especially for those who rent their homes. here on two defense attorneys and former prosecutors. traditionally in the normal case. injured plaintiff has to prove that the dog owner should have known that the dog was dangerous but the burden of proof shifts

to the defense. there is a presumption that the dog is dangerous? >> one bite rule, you could get away with your dog getting away with a bite having no knowledge of violent behavior. if you read the decision from a court. it started in 100 years a case from maryland saying that these dogs are dangerous and right set of facts could lead the court to rule. this was so well written, they used specifics from cdc, doctors everybody everyone to say these dogs are bred to be dangerous animals. 65 of all fatalities from 1982 to 2006 involved a pit bull or rottweiler. >> gregg: stats prove the case? >> lies and statistics. we have to be a society or past

characteristics that they are inherently dangerous. look at way society portrays these animals. the way we saw the video, how terrible that video looks. if someone wants to get a dog, i'm a tough guy, there is always a pit bull. when you look at michael vick, there were pit bulls. when people want to get the dogs they have to train them properly. >> that is pointed. but this is the point, gregg. it's the owner and the irresponsibility of the dog owner that leads to the attack, why? because if you raise a fwreed be vicious to be something that is going attack, just like we can point to stat the fix that are cost i am and friendly and remarkably well adjusted pets and not vicious at all. >> gregg: let me segway to the fallout. people are now going to be able, they are going to actually lose their rental homes, apartments and so forth because homeowner

president said, are you better off than four years ago, the question you must ask, will you be better off four years from now. the unemployment numbers are bad because the 8.1 percent drop is because 360,000 gave up looking for work. here is the point. so far, a narrative is not established by the republican party, if you take the level of participation in the workforce that was the same today as it was when the president took office unemployment would be 11 percent. >>gregg: i am not sure the number of 8.1 percent matters so much as the trend line. it began when it was above 10 percent and now it is dropping to 8.1 leading economists to say it will go to 7.9 percent and the trend is in his favor.

health health -- >>heather: a group of young people called "kid whose care," using their talents to make a difference. >>gregg: off a performance in times square and now here in our fox news studio along with the group's organizer. thank you for dropping by, everyone. tell us what you were doing at times square? >>guest: today we were with kids from all over singing to raise money for an organization called magical music for life providing free cd's produced for children with autism and special needs. and the kids who care were here singing to support those efforts so the group is called "kid whose care," and the kids who

care is a group of kids 7 to 14 using talents singing and dancing and acting to make a difference in their communities doing free performance where they can brighten someone's day, such as nursing homes and senior centers and family shelters and today at times square. >>gregg: you have another group. >>guest: yes, the new kids, a couple of outreach programs that houses the programs and the new kid is an anti-bullying musical that teaches kids the dangers of hazing and peer pressure and we go to elementary and middle schools and all kids cast and some of these kids perform with that cast and they go to schools. >>heather: so why did you start this theater? >>guest: when i was 15, in high school, and i wanted to be able to provide young people with musical theater training and performance opportunity in a safe and nurturing environment.
