glacier view area of the state. mandatory evacuations were tut into effect for 80 homes there. there are 1300 firefighters trying to put the flames out. high winds and thunderstorms opened up a new front for crews to battle. the storm spread embers that started a fire on sheet mountain. we are pulling resources from other aspects from the fire and positioning them in that area. however, it is a priority that we do not lose the anchor points we have established and worked so hard for. resources will made in those areas. they will continue to fight the fire while additional resources addresses the spot fire. right now the fire is only 15-20 percent contained. secretary of the interior toured the area yesterday telling residents the government is ready to help. it caused one death and destroyed 50 homes. many of the local residents say they fear losing everything but one woman breathing a sigh of relief. >> we just found out after day 6
