change the subject, all right? he didn't want you to be thinking about his record, but we are thinking about his record. the people of america recognize that whether you thinks' a nice guy, don't think he's a nice guy, one thing you know, he is a disappointment. when he bowed to the teacher's union and put their demands across america, are kids getting a fair shot? and how about billions of dollars of your money, tens of billions of dollars and takes it and invests in busesses of his campaign contributors, bails them out and eventually those businesses and giving guarantees, is that giving you a fair shot? >> no. >> when the information first came out about this plan, the-- you know, obviously, you get the highlights, essentially, but there are a lot of little tiny things, caveats that are coming out right now, including the fact that one

going significant attention, illegal immigrants with misdemeanors will be allowed, not multiple or felonies, but misdemeanors. >> why you're here illegally and broken the law, you could be allowed to stay there. it's a little bit after loophole. so it's interesting, but in terms of how romney handles this immigration issue, a no-brainer, stay focused on the economy, given the tanking numbers, but romney's standing with latino voters, but forced later today on a sunday show to deal with this immigration pl plan, end around congress and a hint where romney is going to go with this, telling a sunday show host, if obama wanted a solution that dealt with these kids or illegal immigration in america, then this is something he would have taken up in his first three and a half years, not in his last few months, particular focus i would imagine in the first two years

in which he had a majority in the senate, and in the congress and chose to punt. yeah, you know, thinking about this yesterday, and this whole, it's all politics, everything a politician does is politics. >> especially four months out from a presidential election. >> clayton: let's be honest, he's had four years, it's not politics, he's president for four years, he has a job for for years, in the last year he gets to do whatever he wants, the president of the united states and you have to answer for that right now and there are parts of this bill, this immigration legislation he could talk and tackle about, and the misdemeanor, the criminal record, instead he doesn't want to talk about it and's going to face this in the next couple weeks in florida with the latino voters because he's been strict relates to the arizona immigration law. >> and it's not just about the criminal records and misdemeanors, a lot of you folks out there, hey, that's not such a big deal, but then

down the middle and what i come away with, is the president of the united states on friday, kicked in the teeth 20 million american workers who are out of work and their children. i travelled this country in making this film. i did what the president should be doing, i found people sleeping in the snow because they don't have work. i found people down in florida trying to get jobs, they can't get jobs because they don't speak spanish. >> clayton: let's talk about that. an interesting debate. a number of studies the past few years that have said that the notion na illegal immigrants take jobs aren't true. 040,000 summer workers and ththill thel t and young kids coming home from college and simply are deciding not to work, they don't want to take summer jobs anymore. so, is this true? do illegal immigrants take jobs from american workers? >> what they do is they

undercut american workers. you have american workers who need to make a certain amount of money in order to be able to pay their bills and families and then illegals coming in working for half the price, don't have to pay taxes. who's paying the bills, who's paying the bills in the country? what i'd love to do is sit down with president obama and have him watch my film and explain to me how it is allowing millions of students, it's not 800,000. >> you're saying. >> it's in the millions. not just kids, up to 30 years old. i'd love to be called a kid when i was 30 years old. we're talking about something fundamentally killing people in this country, who cannot find jobs and go back to showing my movie to president obama. everyone, hollywood, film festival, cable, you name it, my mom has been squashed. >> really? >> yeah, totally, really, every film festival in the

when the scaffolding collapsed and three people hurt. still unclear what caused the accident. the band canceled the row, but says the tickets will be refunded. an unmanned mini shuttle landed at vandenberg air force base after more than a year in space. the mission was classified, but some believe the x-37 b could be used in intelligence gathering or testing new technology and the air force says the craft will launch later this fall. to extreme weather alert, officials warning that a raging wildfire in colorado could get worse. high wind, scorching temperatures there, flames burning through 55,000 acres, 181 homes destroyed at this point. and at the least one death blamed on the fire. officials say it started when the tree was struck bye lightning. more than 1600 firefighters battling the blaze right now.

right now 45% contained and rick reichmuth has stepped into the studio and he's watching the whole thing. >> rick: it's amazing 45% of that fire contained and takes a long time for that to happen and know it well, a very rough terrain and conditions have not been good. unfortunately, conditions not good again. you see that fire danger again today. very windy, very dry conditions and take a look what the winds do, this is kind of the little future cast and see those colors, that's winds gusting very high and that fire west of fort collins and north of denver on your map there. those winds are very high today. it does get better tomorrow and today, into tonight, a very, very rough one and you take a look at the forecast here, temps remaining extremely high at least the next three days and conditions get better, wednesday and thursday, the next couple of days, very, very important as they're fighting the fire. a couple other stories across

northeast, we have another nice day, you see that rain, it's going to be across interior sections, into much of ohio and west virginia and might see a thunderstorm in places like pittsburgh later in the day. but the coastal areas, a ton of sunshine by the afternoon, and temps very nice into the 70's and 80's and down to the southeast, a warm, typical muggy day, showers from time to time. texas around parts of the central golf and your summer, typical, humid day and ready to see the other showers into the northern plains and this is where we have a chance for severe weather, and that eastern area of south dakota, and western parts of minnesota and we could see a few tornados today and certainly watch out for that. look at that, north platte today. 100 degrees. the west with windy days, nevada over towards wyoming and colorado and warm as well. 96 in denver, and we'll see plenty of sunshine across the southeast, and 110 across

literature, 60,000 worth of loan debt. having said that, we also have the attitude and we've raised this generation cupcake, who their entire life, everything given to them. a great graduation speech i talked about on fox last week, here in wellsley, massachusetts the speaker pointed out you've been told you're special every day. you have kids given a trophy for showing up and cupcake in class and 4.0 and don't deserve it, and you need to go out and earn money. are you kidding me? and in massachusetts, unemployment down to 6% one of the best in the country. there's no nation that someone in the affluent suburbs of boston should get up doing a crumby job. i cropped tobacco in the summer in south carolina, i hated every minute, the expectation was, summer time comes around you're going to earn money and contribute to

if that does well, things could change in a very big way, because they can easily reject the terms of the financial bailout greeks receive and decide they prefer their old currency, the drachma, over the currency theyee adopted, the euro. that could cause chaos, first of all, there's nothing in the european charter explaining how a member could or would leave the euro, second of all the throwback currency, the greeks would revert to, the drachma would cause massive inflation, 35% in the first year, because the greeks would lead to print a lot to stay afloat and probably be unwelcomed at international lending markets, leaving them responsible for printing enough cash to make up the difference, and one drachma would likely be equal to about half of one euro in this race. between right and left, and greece, it's reportedly too close to call, but we don't know exactly how close it is in greece because they're

health. we have super sized portions, we have schools with no gym class during the entire day and we're encouraging mindless eating. we have people go to the movie theater and eat a meal and they don't recognize they've eat and meal. when they're drinking the super sized sodas, they're actually having a bagel and a half. people don't come out of the movie theater and say, oh, i ate my dinner. >> dave: but, justin, is it their right, whether or not it's healthy or not, we have calorie postings on every franchise in this city and most others in the country. is it our right to drink and eat what we want providing it's legal and it is? >> mayor bloomberg's supporters came out, this isn't a slippery slope. one thing we go after and almost immediately, the health board start today erode his position on that and that's the bottom line here. the department of the is overreaching because it's fundamentally our right. you know, if someone doesn't want to drink a large soda, then don't order it. but the government has no

responsibility to protect us from ourselves and that's exactly what the policy is doing. it's insulting and paternalistic and frankly, i think it's going to fail. >> dave: isn't it hurting the businesses, providing a legal product that people want in the size that they want? aren't you punishing unfairly these businesses? >> i don't think that anybody is punished here, people can still go out and they can buy multiple sodas, if they want to. making people aware that a normal portion is not greater than 16 ounces. again, people need to become aware and this is just one way for them to know what's a normal size. i don't think that people know what a normal size is. we are in an obesity epidemic. >> dave: could be clear, companies like coke are exploring the legally of this, why? because it will punish them. they do sell the 20 ounce coax by the millions, here in the city and will suddenly have to change the container, the packaging, the shipping, everything they do.

and they thought that the president had talked a much better game about immigration reform than what he'd done for them. this was one of the top goals that he's given to them. a kind of version, executive version of the dream act. and i think it puts a lot of pressure on romney to find some way to respond. and he really can't afford not to have some attraction to hispanics, he's probably not going to win the majority, but to pick off some of the hispanic voters, in states like florida and colorado and nevada and, you know, he was for, i guess the dream act. he said he would-- he's for deportation and the arizona crackdown and you've got to find some way to reach out to those voters. >> something you'll talk about on the show. you have david plouffe on and hayden talking about the national security leaks. and back to romney and what do you figure the way he opposes this, is it based on the policy or based on the the

procedure and the end around congress? >> well, look, you can say that the procedure was not right and that, as you say, it wasn't end around congress, but, interestingly enough, there are clips of the president as recently as a year ago, saying he didn't have the power to do this kind of thing and now he does, suddenly. that isn't going to, as they say, feed the bull dog, romney is going to have to find a way to say to hispanic voters, i understand your problems and i've got some solutions, now, part of it is the economy and clearly say i've got a better economic plan, but on the question of immigration reform, i think it puts a lot of pressure on him. marco rubio, the senator from florida talked about a modified dream act that would basically do what the president did here, it would say to young illegals brought in by their parents and didn't do it by themselves, who have

favor the liberal syriza party that wants to cancel the bailout and harsh austerity measures may be more likely to stay home which gives an edge to the new conservative democracy party who want to keep the bailout in place, greece held elections about a month-and-a-half ago on may 6th but the results were inconclusive and back then the left wing syriza party took home 17% of the total vote and the right wing new democracy party took home a little more, 19% of the total. but, they prohibit opinion polling within two weeks of election polling and we have no idea where the race stands, but reports on the ground indicate it is too close to call and it is washed closely by financial and government agencies worldwide, because if syriza does well and cancels the bailout the imf will cut them off and if the imf cuts greece off, greece will go bankrupt, and, some say that that could mean they'd return to the drachma, the currency they used before adopting the euro, 11

dead because of the bark beetle, a bug that got into a lot of the pine trees and killed them and all of the try tinder is wadry o go up in flames and they say 70% of the area were dead trees from the bark beetle, and just to the west of fort collins, 50,000 acres burned and the temperatures, next couple of days very warm and the more concerning part is the winds the next few days, 20 to 30 miles an hour sustained and gusting to 50 mimes. so, a really rough, about two days, it does get better by the time we get to the middle part of the week and we start to see temps come down and the wind come down but it will be a very, very rough one and here you go across the northern plains, the threat for severe weather, here's the bull's-eye and moderate risk and tornadoes today. and also, very large hail, so, this kind of eastern, south dakota, southwestern parts of minnesota, the bull's-eye for severe weather, later on this afternoon and into the overnight hours. eastern part of the country, looking good, again but you see

constitutional republic we call america whereby legislation is brought up in committee, the committees that have oversight, and in that legislation, there are amendments, debated upon and that pass out of committee and it is brought before the full house or senate floor and the president, by his own admission, last september, 2011, said this was something that was not within his powers to do, but, yet because of political expediency that is exactly what he's doing so i think this is a reflection of the desperation of the president, as he heads into a re-election, and a lot of the bad news that he is continuing to receive, as far as jobs and the economy, and things of that nature, so, this is not the direction we should be taking. as far as the issue right now and the adverse effects it will have on unemployed americans and also, our young people. >> dave: that is where i wanted to go with this. clearly it is the procedure many republicans already object to. what about the policy of it? i want to mention, david plouffe, white house advisor this morning, says this was not

about politics which, i don't know if anyone believes that, but, let's get to the actual policy of it. and the idea of stopping the deportation of these illegals and giving them work permits, people who were brought here by their parents are going to school, some serving in the military and some going to college, do you object to that philosophy? >> well, i do object to the philosophy of giving work permits to people under the age of 30. this is not about minors, this is really about adults, and as i said, you are talking about giving work permits, what will be the effect on our unemployment situation? it is not 8.2% in the u.s.a., it is 14.8% when you take into count the u-6 computation of unemployed and underemployed and those discouraged and have fallen off the rolls and now, 40 to 45% of college educated graduates are still at home with their mothers and fathers because they don't have opportunities. >> dave: what should be done

with the millions here, hundreds of thousands, if you will, that are here through -- you know, wasn't their own choice and they are trying to go to school to educate themselves, and better themselves and contribute. what should be done with them? should they be deported? >> no, i think first of all, it has to be a case by case base and i don't think you need a blanket policy that is emanated and a verbal order that was given. this is a change of policy that did not go through the legislative process and i think first of all, you have to get the entire illegal immigration situation under control because i think now you have opened up what could be a flood gate of people that will come across the borders to try to fit within the cracks of this very nebulous 5-point criteria that was issued from the administration. so, i think that now, the devil is in the details and we really don't understand what could be the unintended consequences to come from this and we did not allow representatives and did not allow the legislative branch to sit down and hammer these thing out, so we can have the best policy instead of the
