♪ >> shannon: good evening. i'm shannon bream in for bret baier. if president obama gets his way, the special voting rights of some of america's finist will be eliminated. the campaign is suing to keep members of the military from having extra time to cast their ballots in one key battleground state. chief white house correspondent ed henry tells us why. >> new meaning to the term "battleground." president obama's campaign and members of the military on a collision course orve voting rights in the critical state of ohio. his campaign and the democratic national committee filed a lawsuit to block a new state law allowing men and women in uniform to vote up until the monday right before an election. while the cutoff on early voting for the rest of the public is three days earlier. the national guard association and other military groups fired back as offensive for democrats to suggest it's arbitrary for service members to get special consideration.
