overnight. but nothing suspicious was found. arizona's governor jan brewer clashing over immigration. signing an executive order that allows them to deny benefits to young illegal immigrants to obtain work permits under the owe bhaum new program. thousands lined up to apply for temporary status. more than a million illegals qualify for it. it will have a significant impact on arizona's budget and benefits. the court proceedings delayed because the army psychiatrist charged with the murders of 13 people is still refusing to shave his beard. he claims for religious reasons. a judge calls it a distraction. it also violates army regulations. he is telling nadal hassan to shave it or it will be forcibly

identifying the man they say was about to begin a violent shooting spree at the headquarters of a christian lobbying group in washington, d.c. a potential disaster was averted thanks to a security guard now hailed as a hero. >> ainsley everything we have heard from authorities suggest leo johnson the security guard saved the day. we have a picture of him being taken away on a stretcher after being shot in the arm during a scuffle just inside the entrance to the building where the family research council is located. if it wasn't for mr. johnson things could have been a lot worse for the folks inside. >> i would say this in this case the security officer is a hero. he did his job. the person never made it past the front door. >> family research council conservative christian lob diby

thousands lined up for applications to delay deportation for two years. kathleen herridge has the latest. this is the capcation called consideration for deferred action for childhood arrival which is available to more than 1 million immigrants to came to the u.s. in chicago. >> undocumented immigrants lined up to fill out the 6 dpage application. a similar scene in los angeles where the lines were wrong and the questions revolved about having the right paperwork. >> we want to get our passports because obama might be asking for them. we don't know what the requirements are but we are trying to get ahead of time and trying to have all of our documents ready. >> in washington, d.c. applicants appeared at an event sponsored by the national immigration law center a group that supports obama's plan. >> young people like myself being able to realize their

i had hoped that the new president would bring new jobs. not major layoffs, not people going through major foreclosures on their homes. he did get his healthcare through, but at what cost? he said he was going to cut the deficit in his first term. i've seen zero interest in reducing spending. he inherited a bad situation, but he made it worse. i think he's a great person. i don't feel he is the right leader for our country, though. i still believe in hope and change, i just don't think obama's the way to go for that. the president has not earned re -election, in 2012, in my book. i've seen his now definition of hope and change. it's not the hope and change i want, and it's not the hope and change i thought i was going to get. i don't feel that i helped my grandchildren by voting for president obama and i regret that. americans for prosperity is responsible for the content of this advertising.

by congressman ryan would force seniors to pay $364 a year. i assume they don't have it. my plan already extended medicare by nearly a decade. their plan ends medicare as we know it. my plan reduces the cost of medicare by cracking down on fraud and waste and subsidies to insurance companies. their plan makes seniors pay more so they can give another tax cut for billions. that's an example of the choice in this election that's why i am running for second term as president of the united states of america. >> and paul ryan firing back. the president i am told is talking about medicare today. they want this debate.
