while on the campaign trail. peter doocy has a closer look for us. >> good morning patty ann, a big part of president obama's pitch to voters is a reminder that he ordered the raid against osama bin laden and the terrorist organization al qaeda is on the run as a result of his strong foreign policy. here's the president making that pitch last week. on october 1st 19 you said four years ago i told you we would end the war in iraq and i did. i said we would end the war in afghanistan and we are. i said we would refocus on the people responsible for 9-11 they are on the run but osama bin laden is dead. the part from al qaeda is on the run was missing from the speeches on the campaign trail yesterday just a day after republican opponent called him out for misrepresenting the time line of when he told the american people about the attack on u.s. consulate in benghazi was a terrorist attack and said
5:06 am

5:08 am
and it destroys the narrative by killing bin ladenal gayed has been dismantled. also destroys the narrative you can leaf behind in libya and everything is fine. i hold the president personally accountable for knowing the security situation in the world. if you are listening iraq is calli falling apart. if no one else is telling you this i am telling you this. if we left iraq there's been a doubling al qaeda in iraq there are training camps the kurdish president hasn't spoke tone prime minister malki in a year. the candidate's response to the question on libya the most talked about moment from tuesday's debate. the question was asked by keri lk a -- ladka. ladka spoke with gret trau van susteren about that. >> the reason he took that long
