>> good morning. we are in florida. 39 electoral college votes. this is where the candidates are truly focusing much of their energy and television advertising dollars orlando, daytona deech a swing corridor that was in orange county outside of orlando in winter park yesterday where the judges order where it allowed extra hours of early voting 332 additional people voted early even though early voting technically by the law ended saturday night at 7:00 p.m. down in miami dade it was the board of elections there they allowed some absentee in person voting yesterday. so many people found out about the hours they over crowded the location forcing the precinct to

lock the doors and open back up allowing people to get an absentee ballot, get the vote and hand it back over. it doesn't count as early voting but what the difference is casting an earl sloit while the two parties argue over that. here are the numbers through saturday night as far as the early voting and absentee ballot period ended saturday night. 4.4 million floridians have already put their ballot in the system. the way it pans out democrats with the early vote lead. 43 percent came from registered democrats 39 percent from registered republicans. these numbers are 90,000 fewer than the early and absentee vote total four years ago in 2008. in between the two elections republicans in the legislature and governor changed the voting

how important are these closing arguments? >> it is important to energize supporters. the president is talking about his record. he is running commercials about his record. when he talks about what he inherited he did inherit a mess and he is giving context so people understand just how bad things were so they can see how far we have come. we have come a very long way. >> you know it's interesting to hear you say that tara. when you think about the president looking at some of the job growth they have had, this has been the most anemic recovery in 40 years. you look back to ronald reagan when he caught taxes and got business stimulated you had 9 straight quarters of economic growth averaging 6 percent this president has had 3 quarters.

( >> this is after word spread that beam could still come in on sunday for about four-hours. in person fill out an absentee ballot and hand it back over or you could go home fill it out and return it today. so many people showed up and staff was far under well amming as far as being able to handle those people. they only had one printer to print off their ballot. they closed the office down temporarily. in the end they reopened it. but there was certainly some confusion and some mild chaos. >> i have been waiting here

since 12:30 to fill out an absentee ballot and now they are telling us we have to go. that's ridiculous. >> i was the last one to vote. to have all of these people waiting that is unfair. >> here are the total early voting and absentee ballot numbers as of saturday night from the secretary of state's office up in tallahassee. 4.4 million floridians have already cast their ballot. that is breaking it down thanks to algebra skills not far lost. 43 percent for registered democrats, 49 percent for registered republicans. these early voting lines saturday night and friday night people were waiting if line 3 hours four-hours, five hours even six-hours. early voting is the way it is going to work for tomorrow big election day. if you are in line by 7:00 with the polls closed you will be able to kags your ballot no matter if that means it is 8:00,

depression. today our businesses created nearly 5 and a half million jobs. >> they said they were going to lower the unemployment rate down to 5.2 percent right now. today we learned it is 7.9 percent. that is 9 until jobs short of what he promised. >> what is the truth behind these numbers? let's ask. thank you for joining us. good news or bad news? how did it all shake out? >> it is bad news with america with respect to what we can generate and what we have in the past. if you look at it more micro level 131,000 is an improvement. overall the whole jobs picture is really there. >> what we need is 250,000. >> at a minimum. you start to celebrate 171,000. you know the reaction was? the stock market. this number was better than expected, the market was up a little bit then it crashed.

it went a lot lower. i thought that was a pretty interesting sign. let's talk about true unemployment. look at the real unemployment picture. the whole 7.9 percent thing is a little bit skewed. this is the magic number mitt romney talked about in the first debate that propelled him into officially unemployed people working part-time. they don't want to work part-time. over 8 million. and people marginally attached. if someone called them out they would run out in a heartbeat 23 million. you get the unemployment number being some what screwed. eventually we have the one set number 65.5 percent unemployment. if that were the case the unofficial number would be 10 and a half, 11 percent. it is still dismal. >> breaking down the numbers what are you most concerned about? >> black unemployment went up to 14.3 percent from 13.4 in a

single month. that is really bad stuff. women who fought in the gulf war in the last 10 years unemployment rate is almost 20 percent. in years past it was 15 percent. these are troubling trends. college unemployment if you have a bachelor's degree 3.8 percent but other than that it is pretty abysmal for the country. >> the right was 7.8 percent when he took office. he promised one term. he said it should be one term if he didn't reach his goals. >> what bothers me so much is the partis rate is so much lower than when he took office. we are way off the mark. we are near 11 percent unemployment if he used the numbers of how many people looking for a job. that is good news. those coming into the jobs market now the better news is they can start finding jobs. >> thank you so much. see what happens tomorrow. >> it is a nail biter. >> the it is 48 at the tfter thf
