new details about the man shot dead by an fbi agent. this time connection to the boston bombing suspect tamerlan tsarnaev. he was reportedly about to sign a confession to an unsolved 2011 triple murder case in massachusetts which took place on the 10th anniversary of 9-11. toddasev's phone number was in his cell phone. they shared mixed martial arts in chechnya but denies he was part of the attack. he flipped out during questioning and pulled out a knife and that's when he was shot. one agent was stabbed several times but will be okay. fort hood shooter fired attorneys saying he wants to represent himself. major nadal hassan is accused of gunning down 13 people and wounding dozens more at the army base in 2009.

produced severe weather across the center of the country over the last several days moving into portions of the east coast producing widespread showers and thunderstorms. parts of the great lakes, northeast and parts goeseorgia florida. you need the umbrella along the eastern part of the country and you can see the showers and storms rolling in pennsylvania and up state new york. it is this area including the mid atlantic we need to watch through out the day today. we could see some of these potentially become severe and produce damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 miles an hour. an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. northwestern new jersey up to new york even the state of vermont. you need to stay alert through out the day today. you heard anna mention we have rain across parts of oklahoma just to the west. we have a cans to see severe weather as well isolated threat out here in places like amarillo

abraham todeshev's place is still being roped off. he was questioned about the ties to one suspect tamerlan tsarnaev in the boston bombing. they did martial arts and live in the boston area at the same time at the same point. now we are told that tshg odashev met with agents and two massachusetts state troopers late tuesday night. while he was being questioned we are told he became violent after questions about an unsolved triple murder in 2011 that happened in the boston suburbs. he lunged on an officer and actually tried to stab him with a knife. that is unclear. through out the time we have spoken with one of his friends. his friends say ibragim was not involved. his wife says he was not involved he's from a chechen immigrant roots where mixed
