the new year comes into fruition, hopefully if the government delivers on its economic forecasts and targets, inflation start to come down. those cost of living pressures will be released . we'll start to will be released. we'll start to see that support and that growth in the economy is what we want to see. i guess that's what rishi sunak and the conservatives counting on because i'm guessing that people will remember. and if the idea is that not giving these pay rises to keep inflation low , if rises to keep inflation low, if it if it does increase, then this may have backfired. that's certainly a do you don't think there's going to be political blowback from not talking to the nurses? well, i think , you know, nurses? well, i think, you know, it is a it's a different situation, i think, with the medical those in the nhs . i medical those in the nhs. i think, you know, figures that out last week have demonstrated that you know even just a 1% pay increase to those that are already in the service could recruit 60,000 70,000 extra nurses. so it's not just about pay- nurses. so it's not just about pay. it's about the conditions of which the people who are on

the frontline are and do so much for all of in this country. it's about making sure they about making sure that they have, yes. pay, but also. have, yes. the pay, but also. right. conditions the right. working conditions in the most working most appropriate working conditions do conditions to allow them to do the job that they do. the fantastic job that they do. so that's about investing in new technology. about technology. it's about recruiting more people, more places, as pay of that places, as well as pay of that is a package and why the government has added pay review body to look at. it's agreed with that independent pay review body. it's the that happened. so a compensation of course the unions say that it's somewhat outmoded and, not fit for purpose, but this has been a long term problem. this isn't just happening this christmas. i mean, this massive deficiency of employees in the nhs , i mean, employees in the nhs, i mean, they are massively understaffed . surely what's going to change now ? i mean, we had this problem now? i mean, we had this problem a year had this problem a year ago. we had this problem two ago, three years ago. two years ago, three years ago. why it going to get why why is it going to get sorted now, do you think? well, i think the as i mentioned before, think health before, i think the health secretary was out on the
