million people that watched the right honourable under bridge in speech at the commons then you won't need much an won't need much of an introduction this if you introduction to this bit if you are enemy splain. we now have are an enemy splain. we now have the time and the power to research and investigate of the biggest rollouts of novel biggest mass rollouts of novel novel therapeutics taken in modern times. two years ago, we were desperate to be back out to resume our normal in the park or coffee with friends, or even the simple joy of hugging your parents. and that parents. and with that desperation the desperation came the overwhelming whatever overwhelming urge to do whatever took vaccine , specifically took the vaccine, specifically the hammer on anyone's have now had the time to be appreciated somewhat and study it. so why are we afraid to talk about it? joining me to not afraid to talk about it is the right honourable andrew bridgen straight of washington. andrew, good evening . how are you? i'm good, thank you. lawrence what's your take on oxford university response to our request for information ? our request for information? well, he said it's a nom denial. i can't understand why it would
12:13 am
take them. they want to use to respond in detail as to whether a non—disclosure agreement is being given out to research staff to suppress information . staff to suppress information. it's pretty straightforward. it's pretty straightforward. it's sort of something could do pretty much immediately in a that that's going in well before and other journalists have been contacting the learned professor and tonight he's and he's refused to confirm or deny those allegations but we'll will see in due course . and do you think in due course. and do you think what oxford are saying what university is saying is distant thing themself from him or do you think that this is genuine you think that this is genuine you just codification that we're seeking that need to understand . well hopefully truth will will come out ultimately . i mean, it come out ultimately. i mean, it would be tremendously embarrassing. i think oxford university, if we turned out, as we suspected and these have been used to suppress really quite crucial about the . covid 19 crucial about the. covid 19 vaccinations and their link to
12:14 am
heart problems later. it would certainly, in my view, would against the university's code of research ethics if i use that case. and that would sort of major ramifications , would there major ramifications, would there any be would ever be a good reason for an ethics department in any university to stop the release of information to the pubuc release of information to the public or to provide ndas for very as i can't think that there would be any reason to issue an nba would be any reason to issue an nda whether you know research is research and by sharing research i mean that that side that protects humanity and that information so that other can challenge it agree with it and that's how science works. but that's not the way we've seen science working since the vaccines were bought out and no one's allowed to challenge their safety or efficacy in any way whatsoever . and that really whatsoever. and that really isn't the way that science progresses or vindicated . and
12:15 am
progresses or vindicated. and how have you found now that you've come out of the box in such a way that you have the treatment that you've received and the attacks on your reputation ? well, it's always reputation? well, it's always seems to be the times they appear to be that the mouthpiece of the establishment . i've been of the establishment. i've been told they're running a piece on me again . i'm told they're running a piece on me again. i'm very, very popular they they'll write about all sorts things, but they'll never cover the speech i gave the 13th of december in the house of commons, raising my concern about vaccine harms. i've it has been seen probably well over 6 million times it's a 20 minute speech and we just checked on the internet . how many people the internet. how many people watched? at least 18 minutes of it. and it was it was heading towards 6 million. i've thousands and thousands of emails from people around the world mostly from the uk and i would urge them i'm very pleased to have that sort supportive email, but i would also urge
12:16 am
them to contact their own mp. it used to raise their concerns about vaccine harms so that we can get more mps on board and we can get more mps on board and we can actually stop this rollout and certainly prevent it being rolled out to children babies down to the age of six months, which is absolutely ludicrous . which is absolutely ludicrous. why on earth do you think government would condone or encourage the rollout of a novel therapeutic to children age six months when we've already had obviously the evidence of myocarditis in young men and menstrual issues with young women. why on what responsible government would do that ? well government would do that? well i don't know what advice they're getting from which. but the same, i presume, is lot of scientific, military and political capital have been put behind the efficacy of these novel vaccines , these mra gene novel vaccines, these mra gene therapies . and it's going to be therapies. and it's going to be very, very embarrassing to for all concerned to find out that they are neither safe, effective
12:17 am
, and they're certainly not necessary. now since the attenuation of the of the original virus into , the omicron original virus into, the omicron variant a year ago . this doesn't variant a year ago. this doesn't warrant vaccination. it's not a serious enough illness to warrant that . it's basically warrant that. it's basically a bad cold and it's certainly no risk to young people. and there's a lot of evidence that these vaccines and the boosters are more detrimental to younger age groups. and that's the inverse of their risk from covid 19 at all. so without wishing to go down a rabbit holes, why would that become government policy? why would you try and experimental drug on a child when there's enough information to say that these things have some serious, profound side effects , why would the effects, why would the government pursue that and not announce a full public inquiry into the vaccination . well, i'm into the vaccination. well, i'm actually in washington. i'm speaking with politicians over here, senators, congressmen who are set ethical of the vaccine
12:18 am
and its efficacy and what they believe is and i'm inclined to agree with them, is that our health system has captured by big pharma who are making an awful lot of money out these vaccines. i think, you know, for the record, think pfizer made something like $45 billion out of the vaccine last year. and clearly i mean, that that sort of profit margin that buys an awful of influence, whether that's with politicians or indeed the times newspaper and how much would you say that our own government is being bought in this way, would you say that there are individuals in, the government that have profited from this . now, that is wouldn't from this. now, that is wouldn't want to go there at this stage, but i mean, the there's plenty of inducements that could round. then there needs to be an why would you who is advising the government that we need to vaccinate babies down to six months or at no risk from the
12:19 am
virus itself when there's a clear risk from having the vaccination? and this is this doesn't make scientific sense a sensible company country denmark several months ago announced that no one under 50 should be getting the boosters or the vaccines and i think know as i said at the end of my speech on the 13th in the chamber currently , the government's currently, the government's policy on the moderna vaccinations , they're out of vaccinations, they're out of step with medical ethics. they're out of step with the scientific data. and ultimately , they'll be seen to be on the wrong side of history and also ultimately , they'll be on the ultimately, they'll be on the wrong side of common sense and reason. andrew bridgen, thank you for speaking up, and thank you for speaking up, and thank you for speaking up, and thank you for joining you for speaking up, and thank you forjoining me you for speaking up, and thank you for joining me this evening . right. coming up, i will speak to someone who supported the vaccine rollout and then start to ask a question. i can . three to ask a question. i can. three
12:23 am
well, welcome back . looking into well, welcome back. looking into the research of covid is a daunting task . it's now an area daunting task. it's now an area that gets you into trouble, cancelled or told, shut up . cancelled or told, shut up. well, mind that i won't be saying any of that to its doctor. i seem lot. and he joins me now from lovely canary islands. you lucky thing. good evening . it's a i it's great to evening. it's a i it's great to see a scene. what do you make of this very carefully worded response from oxford university removing distancing themselves from professor anthony . it's . from professor anthony. it's. well, you know, it's interesting the wording is very precise in reading that statement from them. i think, you know , what's them. i think, you know, what's really important is that we need to get to the bottom of what's
12:24 am
been going on and clearly, as andrew bridge and pointed out his speech, a whistleblower has contact to them and said that ndas were sent out. i think need to hear from professor anthony himself . to hear from professor anthony himself. that's to hear from professor anthony himself . that's exactly what himself. that's exactly what happened. himself. that's exactly what happened . what was that happened. what was that research? what was it showing ? research? what was it showing? and i think that is still going to be an ongoing issue as we move forward. but to be honest , move forward. but to be honest, lawrence, irrespective of this potential involvement of researchers and covering up information that is valuable to the public around the many vaccines, the evidence around its harms, and certainly specifically what i've analysed looking at is cardiovascular effects , substantial and effects, substantial and overwhelming . so what does that overwhelming. so what does that mean? well in in evidence based medicine, we have to lots of bits of data together to paint a picture when we look at benefits of harms of any intervention and when we look at the many vaccines that covid ammonia vaccines that covid ammonia vaccines in particular, we've got what we call plausible mechanism. all through
12:25 am
mechanism. this is all through peer reviewed published research , double blinded, randomised controlled trials of pfizer. moderna themselves . we've got moderna themselves. we've got clinical data, you know, experience of doctors , patients experience of doctors, patients i've diagnosed and managed many people with vaccine injury, specifically related the specifically related to the heart. we've got what we call high quality observational data. we've got pharmacovigilance data and we've got autopsy data . so and we've got autopsy data. so the evidence is, is very substantial . one of the things substantial. one of the things that many people me for is my campaign on highlighting the harms of excess sugar. going back ten years or so, i was the lead campaigner in this country and i to ten downing street twice for my work on obesity. i met jeremy hunt when he sex for health and influence of a sugary dnnks health and influence of a sugary drinks tax and i did this through initial analysis in medical journals and the bmj for example around the harms of sugari example around the harms of sugar i can tell you lawrence the harms of the mini vaccine when it comes to cardiovascular effects in terms of the quality of the data is far superior than the evidence have on sugar in
12:26 am
terms of its harms to the heart. that's what we're dealing here. so the question is now what is the prevalence of that? and does that relate to the benefits of the vaccine? and we've analysed that as well. and you when that as well. and you know, when we at the cardiovasc effects in particular, certainly the original trials suggested that serious adverse events and the most common of those serious adverse events are issues related to clotting. so heart attacks, strokes, lung clots, for example, were higher or more likely to get a serious adverse event. one has to be hospitalised with covid what was most extraordinary when i was doing my investigation was doing my own investigation was discovering the fact that the world organisation world health organisation lawrence had endorsed at least when the vaccines were being rolled out , potential serious rolled out, potential serious adverse events to look out for . adverse events to look out for. and we look at that list. it's extraordinary and essentially anything and, everything that can go wrong with the heart is that list from heart attacks , that list from heart attacks, pericarditis , arrhythmias, pericarditis, arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation and heart failure. it's all there and
12:27 am
that's what we are seeing in the community. certainly are the patients. some of those patients i find myself, i never thought this needs to be this way. and i think, yeah, know i noticed think, yeah, i know i noticed psychosis there well , psychosis on there as well, which i think some of our job which i think some of ourjob fanatics quite, quite enjoy just shouting at in my ear again. sorry so yeah, i mean, you know , it's unfortunate. it's interesting you say that because what happens with the spike protein from the vaccine , it protein from the vaccine, it seems to be distributed in every organ system in the body. and for people , it can cause for some people, it can cause either direct toxicity or an autoimmune reaction , and that autoimmune reaction, and that includes the brain , the heart, includes the brain, the heart, the liver , the kidneys, the the liver, the kidneys, the ovanes the liver, the kidneys, the ovaries , the testes. and i think ovaries, the testes. and i think that's probably why the who. put list out and they put that list out based upon four bits of information , you know, side information, you know, side effects, serious effects from other vaccines , you know, which other vaccines, you know, which may have been very rare, but still possible animals studies the technology that was being used and covid itself certainly
12:28 am
covid in severe cases , people covid in severe cases, people who were hospitalised in intensive care seemed to cause problems . intensive care seemed to cause problems. multiple organs is certainly not the case. so mild covid. in fact, you know interestingly is a few weeks ago the times newspaper headlined with even mild covid linked to heart disease and strokes. and i looked at the research and we saw that headline was based and it was the complete opposite actually . the that research actually. the that research found the opposite mild covid is unked found the opposite mild covid is linked to less risk a heart attack and there was certainly no risk increased risk of no no risk increased risk of mild covid. things like mild covid. if things like myocarditis for example. so it's a lot of misinformation there and a lot it unfortunately , and a lot of it unfortunately, my lawrence, is being my view, lawrence, is being fuelled very vested fuelled, very powerful vested interests. to remember, interests. you got to remember, the industry have the pharmaceutical industry have got and influence, got lot of power and influence, both visible and invisible, unchecked power over many, many years. they exert their power over academic institutions, over the i mean, our regulator in the uk, the mhra, gets 86% of its funding from pharma, independent scientists . the bmj don't light
12:29 am
scientists. the bmj don't light social ologist. he actually said the regulators, you know , the regulators, you know, they're not independent, they're not rigorous , they withhold the not rigorous, they withhold the data they're selective and as long as they're captured by industry funding, the public must know that they cannot be trusted. and this is a real crisis, something we've never experienced before. and the scale and i think it will ultimately go down as a big scandal. and the scandal so much that mistakes were made, you know, think made a mistake know, i think we made a mistake at beginning. think the at the beginning. i think the scandal when the scandal is that when the information started evolve scandal is that when the inf0|come n started evolve scandal is that when the inf0|come outarted evolve scandal is that when the inf0|come out showingevolve scandal is that when the inf0|come out showing that e was and come out showing that it was serious they medical serious harms, that they medical authorities turned a blind eye, buned authorities turned a blind eye, buried their head in the sand , buried their head in the sand, you know, in medicine, you know , science evolves . you know, , science evolves. you know, doctors can make errors information, changes , but information, changes, but patients and the public want, their doctors, to be honest and ihave their doctors, to be honest and i have conversations with patients all the time say, listen we thought this was true at the time. things that came just quickly and everything you're saying makes sense to me because i think critically . why
12:30 am
because i think critically. why are there so many people who think the opposite? why that's a great great question , lauren. so great great question, lauren. so i think the medical people we've talked about this before, i think you've mentioned it is fear clouds , one's ability to fear clouds, one's ability to engagein fear clouds, one's ability to engage in critical thinking. and many of us , you know, many many of us, you know, many people still most us i would say the very beginning were under a lot of fear. i mean, i think the many, many are still suffering from a form of ptsd from when we went to lockdowns and when we were seeing all these things on the images from the media, you know, images from china, from people very, very sick , didn't know what we were sick, didn't know what we were deaung sick, didn't know what we were dealing with was even one of those i remember getting those person. i remember getting groceries from the supermarket and a dettol to clean the and using a dettol to clean the packet around the soup. before i opened the vegetables , for opened the vegetables, for example, because we didn't know, you know, how contagious this was and how serious it was. so a lot of fear. cloud a critical
12:31 am
thinking, and that's still a problem. then the other issue is something called wilful blindness. you know, where organisations in this institutions are turning a blind eye to the truth in order to feel safe conflict, reduce anxiety and protect prestige and their reputations . and in fact, their reputations. and in fact, that's something that andrew bridgnorth mentioned in his speech. so i we need to understand what we're dealing with comes to having with when it comes to having conversations who conversations with people who are literally not just ignorant . the end of a century they become the fact hesitant. what role you say the british heart foundation have to play in this and are they fit for purpose as and are they fit for purpose as an organisation. yeah, that's a very good question. so i you know, i've worked the british hean know, i've worked the british heart foundation in the past. they've got lot of very good people that i help them in the campaign around getting access to defibrillators, something i wrote about many years ago that we need public we need more public defibrillators reduce that, defibrillators to reduce that, you people dying from you know, people dying from cardiac arrest. know there cardiac arrest. so i know there are people that. i think are many people that. i think the problem with british
12:32 am
the problem with the british heart certainly heart foundation, certainly relating vaccine , relating to the covid vaccine, they with public they have come out with public statements which essentially say there was no link between cardiac arrest in the vaccine. there's link heart there's no link with heart attacks. and at best, lawrence, those statements are outdated. and misleading. and it was said blatantly false. so they are not rigorously analysing this data ? rigorously analysing this data? absolutely not. and i think one of the reasons is, is that many of the reasons is, is that many of the reasons is, is that many of the experts that work with the british heart foundation heavily conflicted and financially in relation to the pharmaceutical . one professor i pharmaceutical. one professor i won't name, who's got a very senior role, the british heart foundation, his institute, for example, has received hundreds of millions pounds of of millions of pounds of research money from big pharma . research money from big pharma. so the problem is the people who are the british heart are advising the british heart foundation of these foundation on many of these different issues, unfortunately are conflicted . this are heavily conflicted. this is what dealing really what we're dealing with really is scandal you like around is this scandal you like around the fact that the many vaccines haven't been halted so far and are going to continue to cause harm is really a symptom of a wider problem. why the system
12:33 am
failure where you have an entity such as pharma, they have a legal obligation to produce profit for their shareholders does not to give you the best treatment. having too much influence over influence and power over governments medical governments of medical guidelines , over academic guidelines, over academic institutions and that entity . institutions and that entity. unfortunately, lawrence has been described by pre—eminent expert in this field , dr. robert hare, in this field, dr. robert hare, forensic psychologist as often behaving in a psychopathic in order to make money, he said , order to make money, he said, deceiving others, calling for profit callous disregard for the safety of others. so if one understands what's at the root , understands what's at the root, the problem, we can then explain what's happening downstream , what's happening downstream, including the wilful blindness and including the statements based upon very good evidence, the totality evidence is very clear. this needs to be stopped and the public need to know that they shouldn't be having any more covid money, vaccines, doctors , i think, want to do the doctors, i think, want to do the right thing , but they themselves right thing, but they themselves don't understand the system
12:34 am
failures. i believe 99.9% of doctors go into the profession to help their patients and do the best thing for their patients. and i speak to these doctors all the time. lawrence and the i must and one of the things i must tell you, constantly now tell you, i'm constantly now getting from very getting contacted from very eminent around eminent physicians from around country, even cardiologists who understand issue understand this, a major issue suppose i'm doing but suppose in what i'm doing but themselves afraid themselves they're afraid to speak out . could it that we are speak out. could it that we are completely mad and the foundation of i've revealed there i have released a statement as you said it makes no reference at all to any vaccine injuries or harms . and vaccine injuries or harms. and this and we are just compelled deeply bonkers. i mean is there a chance of that? because it just doesn't seem to me there is. but i want to know, is there a chance that mystically blessed those was me that question before lawyers? i think you know medicine well to answer the question in medicine is not an exact science. it never has been. it's an applied sciences about using the all probability . this is the science of human beings and i think all the

beings. and i think all the evidence when you look its totality, pointing in the totality, are pointing in the direction that is direction clearly that there is almost certainly very direct evidence of causality . the evidence of causality. the incidence of harm from these vaccines, of course, is always going to be an element of doubt , but the chances very, very , but the chances are very, very small. you. so, so much, small. thank you. so, so much, doctor. seem a lot for informing the world where others and other channels will not allow it. that was doctor. i seem a lot to cardiologist and author of a new paper on covid vaccine efficacy and safety. thank you very much now for regular two reasons. i will read you this the medicine and healthcare products regulatory agency, which oversees vaccines in the uk , oversees vaccines in the uk, vaccines are the best way to protect people from covid 19, and i've already saved tens of thousands of lives as part of our ongoing, rigorous monitoring of covid 19 vaccines, we closely review the yellow card reports submitted to us in the uk alongside safety data from other countries and regulators . oh
12:36 am
countries and regulators. oh there is no indication from this data of an association between covid 19 vaccines and their cardiac . however, we continue to cardiac. however, we continue to evaluate emerging safety information and will take action to protect public when new safety concerns arrived . oh, safety concerns arrived. oh, they say beautifully written all they say beautifully written all the way we've covered our offices. next up , i will be offices. next up, i will be delving into my inbox for your thoughts. i need to show any of your trust the noble vaccine. but . in three your trust the noble vaccine. but. in three or
12:39 am
12:40 am
actually really trust . i mean actually really trust. i mean i barely trust election certainly not vaccines or anything. i just want to i want to start at least the hell alone party and wouldn't go down well thing is i've got my own political party anyway. andrew just hit the nail on the head . you can't ring on the head. you can't ring doctors for important health issues . they can fit you in and issues. they can fit you in and see they even come to me text for a covid job. i feel so sorry for a covid job. i feel so sorry for those posting constant budget to do it for the greater good. budget to do it for the greater good . well, first of all, it's good. well, first of all, it's not for the greater good because it doesn't prevent transmission, infection and second of all, this new job doesn't run against omicron. it's totally different thing altogether. so i think we need to kind of can we give up on for 2023 this is give up on covid i'd be happy anyway nigel says please ask how how long the effect of being vaccinated adverse body conditions last i've not had a job for 13 months and i'm 77. you you know the
12:41 am
odds that one come how long the effects of being vaccinated on the adverse body conditions. i don't know my dad had it and he had really really bad hives for quite some time. and he will be one of the many, many people who are not going back to our dear national health service for another shot of the good stuff . another shot of the good stuff. anyway, coming winston marshall and, his hunter biden. so i have experience experienced this because i played hunter biden in the film after i was cancelled they gave a little sabbatical and i got to go back to acting again like a nice little boy . again like a nice little boy. anyway, coming up next, this on gb news. we've got brand members in the family. join us across the entire united kingdom. we cover the issues that matter to you gb news always stay honest , you gb news always stay honest, balanced and fair. we want to hear whatever is on your mind . hear whatever is on your mind. we don't talk down to you . the

channel welcome back . normally around welcome back. normally around this time , i sit down with this time, i sit down with someone over a slight plate of slightly stale supermarket sandwiches, which castiel afterwards and find common ground , learn something new. ground, learn something new. we'll just an interesting exchange of ideas . i couldn't do exchange of ideas. i couldn't do that this week because it's christmas and no one can be bothered to come and see me. so i reached out to winston marshall , the band banjoist with marshall, the band banjoist with ariel pink, wrote this song to you , and so she listened and it
12:46 am
you, and so she listened and it all came . to nothing. went instead. marshall good evening . hi, lawrence. how good evening. hi, lawrence. how are we. we're all right. why are you trying to cancel yourself again ? well, this is sort of an again? well, this is sort of an accident it was ariel was in london. and so we thought the twitter files were being released and we were learning what we already knew about hunter biden laptop story that you know very well, having made that great film where you hunter himself . and so we got truth himself. and so we got truth finally about the dnc collusion
12:47 am
with big tech with twitter specifically and how they tried to suppress the story , the true to suppress the story, the true story about the laptop, which we know even the new york times now, the long new york times agree that the laptop was in fact hunter's laptop and so we knew all this along. but anyway, we were having fun of it and it was christmas in london. we thought we'd write a christmas song, which then released on song, which we then released on christmas . have a beautiful christmas day. have a beautiful video made by king to carl levin. it's an air art video, which i haven't seen any of them before. i love it really job he's done there. so we had some fun with it and now we're getting in all sorts of trouble. the yahoo! news are reporting not only that the laptop wasn't a real story and this is consequence to sound as well. they're also that ariel was at the capitol hill storming , which the capitol hill storming, which is a lie . he was not at the
12:48 am
is a lie. he was not at the capitol hill storming. and this is this is what is so egregious , particularly about ariel pink's cancellation, because he didn't even the thing he got cancer for, he didn't even do it . so ridiculous . anyway, we had . so ridiculous. anyway, we had with this whole thing and made this video and we put it out on christmas and yeah it's a bit of fun. do you think your. yeah mean i said much i could go back overit mean i said much i could go back over it certainly in terms of that hill riots and all of the capitol police letting people through and to wander around but anyway i you know in a place where you you know obviously you've been to a tricky and painful cancellation from one of the biggest bands on earth . are the biggest bands on earth. are you in a place now where you're showing a bit of humour out there and we can we can talk about this stuff without causing each other pain and you know, i can the pass a bit and you can
12:49 am
we in that area . oh absolutely . we in that area. oh absolutely. we've got to and i think it's the duty of artists to question prevailing in that and it doesn't have to be necessarily political but it can be all sorts of ideas and i mean that's what george orwell doing, for goodness sake. and but yeah, i do. i i goodness sake. and but yeah, i do i! hope goodness sake. and but yeah, i do. i i hope to be able to speak with anyone which is, which is what you're very good at doing. and i've been doing it on my podcast as well. and i do hope that artists can come together and certainly i've and certainly privately i've been to many and there been speaking to many and there is a feeling that you that certainly in the creative industries that are topics you just can't talk about. i mean look how this video being look how this video is being received sort of proves received now. it sort of proves the you know , they say the point, you know, they say things which aren't even true . things which aren't even true. it shut down the story . it just to shut down the story. it just to shut down the story. i mean, ridiculous . you're i mean, it's ridiculous. you're exactly right. i just have to quickly apologise because i mean, shout that in my ear. i shouldn't have said the p word. i should have said, mic i should have said, take the mic take the clause anyway. 2020
12:50 am
take the mic clause anyway. 2020 320 . what have you done? i know 320. what have you done? i know it's over. they're going to find me. what? 20, 23? what is 2023 going to bring for winston marshall ? other than the great marshall? other than the great stuff you don't spectator and or and writing and you know, just being yourself, which is fascinating . watch well, i hope fascinating. watch well, i hope to make more music , silly music to make more music, silly music and serious music . but as you and serious music. but as you say, marshall matters podcast at the spectator, some great guests lined up for the new year and your episode actually on hunter biden. i recommend to your viewers where we went into your film my son hunter and the making of that and the story behind that but yeah i'd like be continuing to do more of that more writing, more songwriting and i look forward to sharing it with you. but how can how can we now as, as people at being sort of shunned . i was trying to you of shunned. i was trying to you and i are on a whatsapp group
12:51 am
and i are on a whatsapp group and another famous person in the whatsapp group and you greeted them with this phrase . just say, them with this phrase. just say, you know, when i joined this whatsapp group, my career was over within matter of weeks . over within a matter of weeks. so what can we do as the ones that are smiling but still want to be creative? what can we do to be creative? what can we do to inspire others, to inspire young people, to inspire , you young people, to inspire, you know, to inspire those who are a bit frightened, express themselves to go, look, it's okay to be yourself and have a view, you know, it's not criminal to think. it's a tricky one because being an artist, it's hard to make money making art so you have to sort of prioritise what is it the art that important or is it that you it to be your you know, you want a career specific , you want to a career specific, you want to play a career specific, you want to play the game and. it used to be that you could you wouldn't have to sacrifice one for the other. but now it seems be that you you have to commit one or the other. it's either either the arts
12:52 am
important or the money's important. and i think a real artist chooses prioritises the i'm not that's pretty good how is aerial to work with because i find for me this the whole the whole january 6th thing to be completely bonkers you know in terms of what is called myths and disinformation . so they're and disinformation. so they're saying he was there on january the sixth in the capital, is that what they were saying? look created for the music video aerial went to the preceding trump which wasn't really document it and then went to his hotel to bed and woke up to stories that he'd been at the capitol hill storming that happened after he had not been at that story that story he hadnt at that story that story he hadn't been at the stormy and been at capitol hill and. he says he wouldn't even gone had he been invited . and it's, of he been invited. and it's, of course , just one of these things course, just one of these things he happens to be a supporter of
12:53 am
trump. so they they take him down. they find excuse and they take him down. and you can see this now how they write about him. it's really such a shame because such a talented because he's such a talented artist. been doing this for artist. he's been doing this for 20 years. he's an indie legend. you know . he 20 years. he's an indie legend. you know. he was 20 years. he's an indie legend. you know . he was loved by you know. he was loved by everyone in them, in music and that it's all gone. it's such a shame, so sad. but there is hope because he's still creating he , because he's still creating he, still making great music. i've heard more his songs that he's going to release and he's a great example of that. just you just got to keep making the art and if there's a sign of hope, i think it's hemmingway said of dostoevsky that dostoevsky was forged in siberia, an artist is forged in siberia, an artist is forged in siberia, an artist is forged in the fire like a sword . and it's these it's sorry is forged in injustice a like a sort of sword forged in fire and i do think that in the long run, with all these ridiculous witch hunts that happen, there will great art, there will be great
12:54 am
music , there will be great film. music, there will be great film. there will be great literature that arrives . but it is it is a that arrives. but it is it is a very puzzling . world the very puzzling. world the creative industries at the moment certainly , i mean, not moment certainly, i mean, not such a lovely way to sum up the situation we're in. marshall, thank you so much for joining situation we're in. marshall, thank you so much forjoining me and happy new year, buddy. happy new year, lawrence thank good. right. well that was me for until 2023. stay safe. happy healthy. next up is done . healthy. next up is done. britain's biggest bombshells stay right . hello aidan mcgivern stay right. hello aidan mcgivern from the met office the rest of the year looks interesting as far as temperature contrast are concerned. cold in the far north, mild elsewhere. but the common theme is that we'll see rain in many places. common theme is that we'll see rain in many places . that rain rain in many places. that rain courtesy of an of low pressure moving away from northern scotland but bringing back some wet weather . the south pushing
