are people coughed up today? >> around £60 billion worth of deals, martin announced. or unveiled here at the guildhall. rachel reeves is quite is quite upbeat. when i met her earlier in the interview. plays out at 5:00. she's someone who thinks that they want to clear away red tape.i that they want to clear away red tape. i mean, close your eyes , tape. i mean, close your eyes, martin. you could imagine liz truss or one of the tories from the last government saying similar things. here's the prime minister. just about a few hours ago when he spoke to investors here, he said, we will make every regulator in this country, especially our economic and competition regulators, take growth as seriously as this room does. he wants to where he finds it needlessly holding back investment. he wants to take this country forward and look at regulation across the piece. this is language which the tories would have said in the old days, and labour would have attacked. it's funny, isn't it, what power can do, perhaps they've recognised that some red tape gets in the way of growth.
