slash alerts. >> hello and welcome. this is britain's newsroom live across the uk on gb news with me, andrew pierce and bev turner. well it's the day you've been waiting for. budget day rachel reeves finally will deliver . reeves finally will deliver. bev, you're there in litchfield. what exactly are you doing there? >> morning, all. morning, andrew. i am at litchfield cathedral school here, just north of birmingham. this morning. i'm going to be talking to a headmistress and some parents and some teachers about the uncertainty now facing the education sector, particularly the independent sector. we're in this beautiful old building, actually, as you can see, there's a lot of building work going on. give us a wave, fellas. this morning, you see these private schools often. they're in very old properties and they need maintenance. they need investment. i'm going to be talking to sue about how hard thatis talking to sue about how hard that is and actually what the vat hike for the first time in history on private school fees might mean .
