griffiths. he's of course he's a supporter of kemi badenoch . supporter of kemi badenoch. andrew griffiths a quick one for the viewers who's one. >> good morning chris. good to be with you. we're all going to have to wait. what is it. be with you. we're all going to have to wait. what is it . about have to wait. what is it. about 55 minutes. i've got the same butterflies in my stomach that many people will have. look , many people will have. look, i've always been quietly optimistic that kemi would win the interactions that i've seen with members, the fact that she's always seemed to me the best answer to the question that we've had right now, which is how do we reunite, re—equip ourselves, ready for government? so we'll have to find out. but, you know, hopeful. i'm hopeful by my maths. >> 80 mps or 79 mps don't back kemi badenoch, 80 don't back robert jenrick. so two thirds of the parliamentary party don't support the new leader . that's support the new leader. that's a bit of a nightmare, isn't it? >> well, i think 121 conservative mps sitting across the benches looking at the absolute horror show that that was the labour budget last week , was the labour budget last week, are very keen that we all unite,

we all roll up our sleeves and get down to work on monday, take the fight to labour and as quickly as possible and having built credible plans, get ready for government. >> but do you worry that some of the big beasts are leaving the frontbench? james cleverly won't be part of the new shadow shadow team. jeremy hunts off. rishi sunak, i'm sure is in yorkshire, not the frontbench, with oliver dowden probably. certainly not. you have to create a new team, don't you? around the new leader. >> well, look, the process of any party, any human talent organisation is obviously renewing its talent over time . renewing its talent over time. but but all of the people you've mentioned have said that they're going to make a contribution from the backbenches. all of them are as motivated as anyone could ever be to unite the right to get us back into government, obviously learn the mistakes as well that were made in the past. so i have no, i actually have no concerns on that score. this labour government is such a horror show. that budget absolutely showed where their values are. and there is a very clear difference between what
