amsterdam yesterday as israeli football fans were attacked, leaving a match between ajax and maccabi tel aviv. now the attack has been described as an anti—semitic pogrom by israel's president isaac herzog , and one president isaac herzog, and one fan, yaakov masri, told israel's channel 13 news that they started hitting us. they broke my face, knocked out a tooth, cut my lip, he said. my son got punched twice in the face, he added that he is now locked in his hotel room with tables blocking the door, and said we called the police to send a patrol car, but they said they are occupied with other incidents. i'm in pain, he said. well, of course this is incredibly worrying, disturbing violence. but there is a question will we end up seeing this level of chaos on our streets in britain, jake? is this just random football violence, or is there more to it than that? >> well, i wish i could say it was miriam, but i think the big danger here is that this is the track we're going down in the uk only on the 27th of october. we saw pro—palestinian protesters screaming at elderly jewish

these pro—palestine protests, but it feels to me like it may not be once people are, you know, motivated to the extent that they go and disrupt our streets across the uk. and in fact, don't forget that this weekend, on the 10th of november, on remembrance sunday, the police have allowed a pro—palestinian march to the police have allowed a pro—palestinian
