to stand down. it comes after a report into the suspected abuse of over 100 children by a well—known barrister associated with the church of england. the report also claims that the institution had played a role in covering up the accusations. when details initially came to light in 2013, terminally ill adults who are expected to die within six months would be able to request assistance to end their own life under the proposed end of life bill. but someone with a disability or mental health issues would not be eligible. the controversial bill has raised some concerns that people could feel pressured to end their life prematurely. labour mp kim leadbeater, who put forward the bill, says it includes the strictest safeguards anywhere in the world. mps will have their first vote on the proposals on the 29th of november, a once a day

pill that could help tens of thousands of people give up cigarettes and prevent thousands of smoking related deaths each year will be rolled out on the nhs. the pill works by tackling nicotine cravings and also helps with withdrawal symptoms such as irritability and trouble of sleeping. official estimates say it could help more than 85,000 people give up smoking over the next five years, as well as preventing 9500 smoking related deaths . wage growth has fallen deaths. wage growth has fallen to its lowest level in more than two years, while joblessness has jumped by more than expected. the office for national statistics says the average regular earnings growth eased by only 4.8% in the last three years. sorry, the last three months up to september. that's down from 4.9% in the previous three months. this marked the lowest level since june of 2022. the ons also says the rate of uk
