system which she warned feels like you're back in the 80s or 90s. introducing the get get britain working white paper, miss kendall told the commons we will create a new jobs and careers service, overhauling job centres from a one size fits all service that focuses on administrative administering benefits into a genuine public employment service. official figures show that unemployment rate for young people is at 14.8%, up from 12.1% a year earlier. the plans include a £240 million investment to overhaul the current network of job centres across britain, and more funding for mental health services. pension secretary liz kendall spoke in the commons earlier on bringing forward the biggest reforms to employment support in a generation, turning a department for welfare into a department for work, taking the first steps towards delivering our bold ambition of an 80% employment rate in a decade of
