in touch. usual ways gbnews.com/yoursay. but now your headlines, tatiana sanchez. >> martin, thank you very much. the top stories. a fourth body has been recovered from the channel near calais, after three migrants died when they fell from a small boat yesterday. french media reports say the body of the man was found near the beach at sangatte this morning, a few hundred metres away from yesterday's incident. three migrants died when they fell into the water as their small boat was setting off for britain early in the morning. dozens of others were rescued after they fell from the overcrowded boat. border security and asylum minister dame angela eagle said that ruthless criminals were responsible for overloading the boats. so far this year, 77 migrants have died trying to cross the channel. the king has paid tribute to former us president jemmy carter, who has died at the age of 100. his majesty said it was with great

wakana had all the support available from uk officials. in other news, five people have reportedly been charged in connection with the death of one direction singer liam payne at a hotel in argentina. that's according to local media. the 31 year old star died in october after falling from the third floor balcony of a hotel that he was staying in. hotel manager gil de martin and hotel employee esteban grassi, as well as roger norris, who was reportedly a friend of liam, had been charged with manslaughter. argentina's national criminal and correctional prosecutor's office is quoted as saying. bryan pais and ezequiel pereira, who both reportedly worked at the hotel, have been charged with supplying cocaine. a judge has reportedly ordered that two of the five accused should be remanded in custody. in other news. gatwick airport says operations are now returning to normal after four days of fog related flight restrictions. more than 20 flights planned for today were cancelled in advance, and passengers were being warned of delays throughout the day. a

afghan nationals who were convicted in belgium over their involvement in a major people smuggling ring, have been arrested while on the run in the uk. prosecutors in belgium say they were part of a gang involved in organising the transport of migrants from afghanistan through iran and the balkans, and then into western europe. and authorities say they were also part of a group who committed serious sexual offences, including rape against male migrant minors, and the gang members now face being returned to belgium to serve their sentences , and extradition their sentences, and extradition proceedings have begun. well, let's have a chat about this now with our political editor, chris hope, who joins me live from westminster. chris, welcome to the show. great to see you after a christmas break. so serious story and a big win for the labour party here. they said they'd smashed the gangs and there's some evidence of some throughput here. >> yeah martin i'm happy new year to you and great to see you
