at prime minister's questions, the conservative leader demanded to know if sir keir starmer is confident. we fully understand the scale of rape gangs. she also accused the prime minister of not wanting questions asked of not wanting questions asked of labour politicians who may be complicit. sir keir starmer fired back, urging kemi badenoch to drop her call, arguing another inquiry would only delay action with victims demanding progress rather than more investigations. meanwhile, nigel farage has suggested reform uk will fund an inquiry into child sexual abuse if the government fails to do so. the reform uk leader said his party will raise the money and appoint independent arbiters to conduct the national inquiry. in other news, at least two people have been killed and 70,000 have been ordered to evacuate as three massive wildfires tear through the suburbs of los angeles. in california, the fires, fuelled by dry weather and strong winds, are pushing dangerously close to

homes, forcing tens of thousands of residents to flee. the la city fire chief says there are a number of significant injuries and we are absolutely not out of danger yet. back in the uk, the mother of 14 year old kenyan boxer who was stabbed to death on a bus in south—east london, has said he was groomed by gangs after running away from care and living on the streets. his mother, mary, says he was kind, musical and talented at drawing with a love for football. kellyanne was attacked on a double decker bus in woolwich just after 2:30 pm. despite efforts from police, paramedics and the london air ambulance. he died shortly after the attack. detectives are working at pace to find those responsible, but no arrests have yet been made. and a new amber warning has been issued for snow for the south—west of england, likely to cause travel delays and stranding some vehicles and passengers. britain is bracing for a deep freeze as

inquiry. now.com and kevin badenoch, the leader of the tory party, has emailed supporters urging them to sign it. labour's cross because in that same email there's a plea for funds for the party. they're saying it kemi badenoch stooped to a new low by fundraising for the tory party and playing politics with the safety of vulnerable people. this is this amendment, if it goes through, will then kill off this welfare, this children's welfare and schools bill, which will have have an added impact on the government's work, because that that bill is going to limit the cost of school uniforms for students and other areas, too. so it's a wrecking amendment. it won't go through that very reason. you'll have labour mps whipped, told by the government to vote against a national inquiry into the grooming gang scandal. that will happen and that will be politically difficult for some labour mps at the next election. so very heated politics today. again, it won't really affect what will happen. it won't. it won't 150
