union rather could also face tariffs next. well, president donald trump has warned that the eu could, as i say, face those tariffs. and here's what he had to say. >> the european union charges us 20% plus plus plus a vat tax called a vat tax. very similar. and it costs us an absolute fortune. we are treated so badly and we have a tremendous deficit with the european union. so we'll be doing something very substantial. >> and staying with news in the united states, a medical plane has crashed in a crowded philadelphia neighbourhood, killing all six people on board, including, sadly, a young patient and her mother. the jet rescue air ambulance erupted into a fireball just 30s after takeoff, engulfing several homes in flames. an investigation is now underway, with officials from the national transport safety board on the scene. it comes just days after another plane collided with a us army helicopter near washington, dc, killing 64 people on board and

three on the helicopter. back here at home, richard tice says reform uk mp won't be suspended despite a past assault conviction for kicking his former girlfriend. he argues that james mcdermott is a mature mock, rather is a shining example of someone who made a mistake but grew and succeeded. the conviction was not disclosed when mcdermott was elected, but surfaced after court records revealed he served 21 days in a young offenders institution. richard tice insists that reforms vetting process has improved despite past failures, calling it better and better. the met police are deploying extra officers in london as opposing protests over tommy robinson are set to clash. robinson's supporters will march from waterloo station to whitehall, while anti—racism protesters head from piccadilly to trafalgar square. police say pedestrian access will be

restricted and people should avoid the area if they're not involved. it comes as robinson is currently serving an 18 month prison sentence for breaching a high court injunction. the met says officers are prepared to intervene swiftly if any disorder breaks out. sir keir starmer is being accused of fudging the facts about his education by the founder of social mobility charity the sutton trust, sir peter lampl claims the labour leader pretends that reigate grammar was a state school when it became private. during his time there, he argues the government's plan to tax private school fees is regressive, and is warning it will deprive children of key opportunities. but a government spokesperson says the tax will bring an estimated £1.7 billion a year for state schools and improve standards and hiring of more teachers. and a breaking update on the situation in the middle east. hamas and israel have now exchanged more hostages and prisoners today, in the fourth

homes and cars on fire. well, joining us now is aviation expert sally geffen to tell us more. sally, what do we know about this story so far? what's happened here? >> so it was an aircraft called a learjet, which was a medical ambulance aircraft, and it had a few passengers on board and it had only just taken off. and in fact, the tracking data shows that it was merely 40s. that's less than a minute between take off and it actually crashing back down to the ground. it hits the ground at such a velocity. it was something like 183ft a second, and it formed this massive impact and a huge explosion and apocalyptic scenes, in fact, were being experienced and witnessed by local 1530
