there's a live investigation going on in terms of the labour party. he's been andrew gwynne has been administratively suspended. he's lost the labour whip. i don't know what was said in those whatsapp groups. it wouldn't be appropriate for me to comment. >> but shadow chancellor alex burghart said andrew gwynn's comments just show sir keir starmer hasn't got a hold of antisemitism within the labour party. >> the worst thing that i've seen mr gwynne say on that group was that one gentleman was too jewish. now keir starmer claims that he's gotten on top of this problem in the labour party, but he clearly hasn't. we need to know who else was on that group. did they call andrew gwynne out when he said that? if not, what sanctions are going to be taken against them? you know this. we need all of this out in the open as quickly as possible, because otherwise it's the same old laboun otherwise it's the same old labour, same old antisemitism within the left in in this country. and, you know, it shows

that labour hasn't changed at all. >> in other news, the parents of two girls killed in the southport knife attack say they're looking for light in the darkness. speaking to the sunday times, seven year old elsie dot stancombe and six year old b.b. king's families remembered their daughters as confident, happy and intelligent. they opened up about their children's funerals and the support from their communities. in the months since that horrendous attack. alice da silva aguiar also lost her life on that day. prince harry and meghan cheered and clapped as the united kingdom's team walked onto the stage for the opening ceremony of the invictus games. the couple arrived in canada yesterday for the seventh edition of the games that were established by prince harry back in 2014. their appearance comes just hours after donald trump confirmed he won't move to deport the duke of sussex.

sophia, and thank you for all your comments flooding into the newsroom already. and this is a very dark blue, by the way. it's not black. i'm not in mourning for prince harry not returning. and nigel nelson is none of the words you've called him already. he's a very nice man, honestly. okay, now let's get stuck into today's story, shall we? a new report has rocked the right wing of british politics, with nigel farage reportedly looking to make an alliance with boris johnson. the mail on sunday says that farage is inner circle are considering a potential deal with a non—aggression pact. good luck with that one. across battleground constituencies, this is the most likely option. the most recent mrp poll had the conservatives on 178 seats. reform on 175 and labour on 174. so if an election was called, that would be the result. meaning that if you put the two right wing parties together, that would be a mega party on

the right, wouldn't it? definitely defeating labour, which surely is the point. let's find out, shall we? joining me now is mark howe, the chairman of sutton coldfield reform uk. mark, thank you very much for joining me today. very intriguing story here. now we did try to talk to one of the very high up people in reform this morning, and i can't repeat what they actually said live on air. so what's your comments on this one? >> well, i'm not surprised they couldn't repeat it on air. i think the thing is, dawn, first of all, it's the daily mail report. they're not really friends of reform uk. and we saw back in, you know, 2019 when we did a deal with, well, when we sort of stood candidates down for boris johnson to defeat laboun for boris johnson to defeat labour. and then johnson obviously squandered an 80 seat majority with mass immigration. et cetera. et cetera. so, you know, my own personal view would be that this would be a mistake.
1:09 pm
the vast majority of the conservative mps would probably be better forming an alliance with the lib dems rather than us, because that's typically where they tend to stand, in my view. >> ooh, so you think they're more the current conservative party are more aligned to the lib dems than to reform? >> well, yeah. i mean, i mean, don't get me wrong, there are some conservative mps that we'd happily take and would happily, you know, if 1504 00:09:27,016
