starmer has defended ukraine's president zelenskyy, calling him a democratically elected leader after president trump called him after president trump called him a dictator. a downing street spokesperson said the prime minister called mr zelenskyy last night to offer his support. he also added that it was perfectly reasonable to suspend elections during wartime, as the uk did during world war ii. meanwhile, conservative leader kemi badenoch said mr zelenskyy is not a dictator. he is the democratically elected leader of ukraine who bravely stood up to putin's illegal invasion. but the us president has been speaking overnight at an investment forum in miami, where he took aim at president zelenskyy again and europe's handung zelenskyy again and europe's handling of the war. >> thank you very much. >> thank you very much. >> and shadow foreign secretary priti patel said trump's comments are clearly not right. but she did say europe must step up. >> what i don't think we should be surprised about, though, are president trump's overall remarks about the rest of

monsters. meanwhile, six living hostages are due to be freed on saturday. the pope had a peaceful night and ate breakfast. the vatican has said in an update on his health. it comes after it was confirmed he will not take part in this weekend's holy year events. the pontiff has been diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs as his health continues to present a complex picture. francis has been pope since 2013 and has suffered from influenza and other health problems several times over the past two years, and more than half of gen z nhs staff say work stress has made them sick, according to a new study. under 30 were more likely to be unhappy with their pay and develop work induced illnesses than those aged over 50. the analysis of 20 years of nhs staff surveys by the nuffield trust think tank has revealed a growing gap in staff morale between young and old employees.
