>> and some breaking news this houn >> and some breaking news this hour. number 10 says sir keir starmer and volodymyr zelenskyy will meet in downing street this afternoon after the ukrainian president arrived in the uk by plane today. european leaders have come out in support of their ukrainian counterpart after yesterday and of course, ahead of a major summit in london tomorrow hosted by sir keir starmer. counter—terror police are assessing complaints about a bbc documentary on gaza, which featured the son of a hamas official. the bbc said independent production company hoiho films, which made the documentary gaza how to survive a war zone, told the broadcaster the boy�*s mother had been paid a limited sum of money for the narration. culture secretary lisa nandy met the bbc's chairman yesterday after saying she wanted assurances that no stone will be left unturned dufing stone will be left unturned during a review into the documentary. the bbc has apologised for, quote, serious flaws in the making of the film. elsewhere, the vatican says the

pope elsewhere, the vatican says the pope had a peaceful night and now is resting after suffering an isolated breathing crisis. the vatican says pope francis received non—invasive mechanical ventilation to help him breathe as he continues to battle double pneumonia. the latest episode comes after a couple of days in which vatican statements have been slightly more positive, talking of a slight improvement in his condition. a statement says he is alert, but his prognosis remains guarded. pope francis was admitted to rome's gemelli hospital on the 14th of gemelli hospital on the mth of february with a severe respiratory infection that triggered other complications. in other news, police say it's a reasonable assumption that actor gene hackman died when his pacemaker had its last event on the 17th of february. that's ten days before being found. hackman and his wife, betsy arakawa, were found dead in separate rooms of their home in a gated community in santa fe, new mexico, on wednesday. one of the couple�*s three pet dogs was also found dead near two arakawa, an official said the condition of the bodies indicated the pair
