that's only if he says russia does the same as part of steps towards ending the conflict. he comes also as tensions between kyiv and washington remain high. while the white house is pausing its military military aid to ukraine. conservative leader kemi badenoch, meanwhile, has said that she praises the ukrainian president for keeping a cool head in difficult circumstances. in other news, the trial of triple killer karl clifford has heard he raped his ex—girlfriend in a violent sexual act of spite before murdering her and her family with a crossbow and knife. the 26 year old admitted killing louise hunt. her mother carol and sister hannah at their hertfordshire home in july but denies rape. prosecutors say he carefully planned the attacks after miss hunt ended their relationship, and he went on to buy weapons and deceived his way into the home. jurors were also told louise described the relationship as sucking the life out of her, before breaking up with him just weeks before the

attack. that trial continues. a manhunt is underway tonight after a teenage boy was shot deadin after a teenage boy was shot dead in broad daylight in clapham. the 16 year old was found with gunshot wounds this afternoon but couldn't be saved. no arrests have been made so far, as police are racing to identify the victim and contact his family. officers are also combing cctv and appealing for witnesses. with a crime scene still in place. the met police says that they will work around the clock to catch those responsible. farmers have been staging another protest in london today over labour's inheritance tax changes, with a pancake day rally near parliament. they're opposing a plan 20% tax on agricultural land worth more than £1 million, arguing it will force land sales and hurt farming families. the met police limited the number of tractors allowed on the march today, a decision questioned by some politicians, including nigel farage, who's urging farmers to put pressure on labour mps in rural constituencies. but the
