of six. a muir, father and kids. >> disney officials in orlando said they are working to law enforcement to find out what happened. investigators in tennessee wanted to know about the relationship between steve mcnair and the woman he was found death yesterday. yesterday, they were found shot to death in mcnair's nashville condition minimum. police said mcnair was shot several times, once in the head. and she had one gunshot wound. the gun was found. on thursday, the woman was arrested for bui and mcnair was a passengers in the car. one woman is dead and several people hurt as a tour bus plowed into a ledge on the adirondack mountains. it hit rocks and pinned the woman underneath. nine people were taken to the

hospital. officials say their injuries were not serious. no word on where the bus was headed. we have an update on a deadly fireworks explosion in north carolina. a third person has died from injuries he sustained when a truck carries fireworks blue apart. the workers were unloading the fireworks for a fourth of july display when the truck exploded. they were part of a crew setting up for a show. they are looking into what caused the explosion. a lightning strike killed one man and injured more than a dozen in florida. the crowd was celebrating the fourth of july. a witness said the lightning came out of nowhere. >> there was no rain at the time. a few clouds moving in the area

a lieutenant governor. new jersey just created the office. they will have their first lieutenant governor in 2010. but it brings lieutenant governs together. we network and that is important. we share best practices, what might work well in one state may work well in maryland or not. it gives an opportunity to share ideas and concepts. it gives us an opportunity to forge relationships informally and formally. for example, we recently, maryland signed up for the comtact per educational opportunities for military dependents that requires all states to come on board. through an organization like the lieutenant governs association i can share what we are doing and how they might join the interstate compact. it's a useful organization and we meet twice a year. >> you meet twice a year and i understand the conference is coming up. where will it be located? >> we are proud and pleased and

one person was found dead when a tour bus rolled off the road. nine people were taken to the hospital but authorities say their injuries were not serious. the bush crashed around 3:00 this morning in lake george, new york. no word yet on where the bus was headed. police haven't identified the woman who was killed. we have an update on the deadly fireworks explosion on north carolina's ocracoke island. a third person has died from injuries he sustained when a truck carrying a load of fireworks literally blew apart. the workers were unloading the fireworks for a professional fourth of july display when the truck suddenly exploded. two other people were critically injured in the blast. they are all part of a crew setting up for the show. federal investigators are looking into what caused the explosion. a lightning strike killed one man and injured more than a dozen other people in lakeland, florida. the crowd was celebrating the

can still see out of it. even after being shot, norman tried to get the license play of the get-away car. police tracked the suspect down after he crashed his car. a teenage girl is the fifth person to die in a string of shootings in a south carolina town. a local coroner says abby tyler here, who was 15 years old, died in a hospital yesterday, two days after she was shot. a county sheriff says one man is believed to be behind all five killings, and he's labeling the suspect a serial killer. the first shooting happened last weekend. many people in the town of gaffney are now terrified, including one man's young son. >> he was actually fearful and scared and asked me not to stay up late because he was afraid that something would happen at the house because of what he hears. it's constantly in the news. people are talking. it's what they have been hearing for the last two days. so he was fearful. he was scared and he was concerned for my safety.

pauline chiou looks at practices that are dangerous for the worker and the environment. >> reporter: imagine working in conditions like this, cutting apart massive freighters with little or no protective gear. standing in puddles of oil, breathing in noxious fumes, all for a $1 or $2 a day. it's a nasty and difficult process knowns as ship as ship. as documented in the film "iron eaters," it often takes place on the coast of bangladesh and india, where ships are beached and then left for workers to break down. now action is being taken to try to clean up the process. members of more than 60 countries have signed onto an agreement that seeks regulation. getting ships to detail their hazardous waste, pushing for the ship recycling to take place at proper facilities, and looking out for the safety of workers. but critics call the new agreement a shipwreck. >> the global response to this
