good to see you. michael jackson's personal physician plans to show up at a los angeles court today, whether or not authorities are ready to charge him or not. they told tru tv -- he admits he gave the pop star antianxiety drugs to help him sleep. >> one of the top stories, planes are grounded and lawmakers aren't going to work. up to two feet of snow may hit the mid-atlantic today. a blizzard is expected to hit new jersey and delaware. the snowy potomac river from leesburg, virginia. thanks for those great shots. the warnings cover baltimore, d.c., virginia and west

kidnapping 33 kids in haiti. anyone accused of kidnapping a child is not eligible for bail. is not. the conviction carries a maximum of life in prison. last night, haiti's prime minister told "larry king live" the judge has three months to decide whether or not to prosecute. >> we are to understand they do it in good faith or if they were linked to other traffics. i'm in a position to decide that. it's the job of the judge or the jury. >> now, the haitian government is open to transferring the case to a u.s. court, but the u.s. has not made that decision yet. the leader of the group is having financial problems. she was foreclosed. her online retail business was targeted in lawsuits over the

last few years. an employee says he was never paid back for wages. they suggest her reputation as a businesswoman may have followed her to haiti. >> in my heart, i think she went down with good intentions to help people in trouble. it's a lack in planning. she did it in her business life and it seems to follow her personal life. she won an award from a business group. the committee made note of her charitable work and she gave hope to countless families around the wormd. we are following the case. it was millions of cars with sticky gas pad dals, then the brake problem. gener jennifer, you have been keeping an eye on this story. what is the new info. >> thanks for joining us. the lexus hybrid's use similar

brakes as the brakes in the news with the prius. toyota is looking at the brakes. they haven't received complaints, but yesterday, toyota said a software glitch was causing some of the cars to surge forward. it says the problem has been fixed on cars sold basically in the past week. it says since late january. but, i mean, what does that mean. it's early february now. toyota hasn't said how it's going to deal with all the car that is are on the road right now. what's really big, coming up soon, toyota's ceo scheduled a news conference. this is the first time we are really hearing from the head of toyota, susan. mostly, we have been seeing other spokes people. the head of toyota had pick quhurs of him not taking questions as you may have seen and getting into an audi and

winds gusting through 50 miles per hour. you are going to see white out conditions tonight through tomorrow. it lasts through tomorrow afternoon. look at the snow. the bulls eye, the dark shade of purple is about a foot and a half of snow. up the mountains near northern virginia and parts of western virginia. that's the bulls eye that gets the heaviest part of the snow. the heavy rain in georgia and south carolina. a big line of thunderstorms in western parts of florida. look at the heavy downpour around atlanta. rain near georgia and south carolina and north carolina. look at the thunderstorm line right by panama city. we are looking at a juicy atmosphere. you get the rainshowers squeezing out. thunderstorms are a great possible. here's the upper level low. light snow picking up around omaha and des moines and kansas

city, too. out west, yeah, more rain for you for southern california. an inch to inch and a half for l.a. just about everybody getting blasted. no one is immune, maybe florida. southern florida. miami looks okay. super bowl, rain tomorrow morning. sunday things are okay. >> activists who say they are frustrated by both major parties are meeting for their firs ever convention. tea partiers want to turn the country arnold. police say a man used that sword during an attack on a college campus.

the first national party tea convention starts it first full day today. it kicked off last night in nashville. former gop vice presidential

candidate sarah palin will give the keynote speech tomorrow. conventioners are fired up. new for you in the next 20 minutes. hear the controversial comments on immigration and president obama. looks like it was a combination of pneumonia and prescription drugs that killed britney murphy. her death was an accident. it did not say what type of drugs she used, but they were prescription medications. she collapsed in her hollywood home in december. her husband and mother insist she did not misuse prescription drugs. if you own stocks or a 401(k), you probably don't want to look at your statement today. stocks took a beating yesterday.

jennifer westhoven is here. not a good day to glance at it, right. >> we say not to go online and check it every single day. we are watching now. the overseas markets have been sharply lower. the dow down 268 last night. lots of fears out there. check it out, the dow just barely above 10,000. just two points there. what's the thinking? what's going on is maybe the world economy isn't as strong as everybody had been betting. we have a major u.s. jobs report coming out in about a little over two hours. there's thinking maybe it's going to be weaker than they had thought. we'll see. we are expecting to see unemployment probably still around 10%. one of the questions is, are we going to stop seeing job losses in these figures? that's starting to become a question, maybe we'll see gains. we have last about 7 million

jobs since the recession began. ford has to tell something. they are fixing several thousand hybri hybrids. it's a software glitch. it makes drivers think the brakes have failed, but they haven't. they are not calling it a recall. owners will be notified in the mail and they can get their software reprogrammed at no cost. 17,000 small compared to toyota. >> if you think your brakes are failing, it's just as scary, right? >> yeah. >> thanks. we are watching a couple court hearings involving a john edwards sex tape. a judge could decide what happens to the video that shows john edwards and his mistress. and the folks who protect you in the air are not all happy. we are looking at problems in a federal air marshalls program.

michael jackson's doctor plans to turn himself in at an l.a. courthouse today. a sheriff's spokesman says he will not be arraigned today. negotiations over the terms of the surrender broke down. michael jackson died last summer while under his care. 212,000 people were killed last month in haiti. that's according to to the country's prime minister. millions were made homeless by the earthquake. more than 300,000 people injured. peam were already homeless before the earthquake. the man who toppled the

low visibility. heavy snow. let's go live to nyc. winter storm watch. you guys in new york, it's a tough call. you are pinched between the heavy snow to the south and the drier air to the north. that's the empire state's building. three inches of snow starting tonight or tomorrow or you could see zero. i think three to five is what you are going to get. if you look at the map, we are looking at just getting clipped around nyc toward long i lanld. then heavier in philly and baltimore and d.c. then we get closer to the coastline, the wind is going to pick up. blizzard warnings for jersey. that's something to watch there. heavy rain in atlanta and the western part of the panhandle. florida getting blasted with heavy rain. it dipped to the gulf of mexico.

>> the kids never missed practice and they were disciplined enough to keep focused on something positive. >> reporter: tra program is now a lifesaver. many families of the children have now moved on to the field, nowhere else to go. >> what we are trying to do is keep it clean. give them a little, you know, set up bathrooms, set up water and give them care. that's all. understanding. so, they are safe here. >> reporter: safe and sheltered. he provided what tents he had. those without them have gotten more creative. >> are those goal posts sm. >> goal posts, yes. >> they made a home out of a l golf post? >> yes. >> reporter: families are making due the best they can. save as many as you can. >> save as many as you can an serve as much as you can. that's it. >> he's still doing amazing things there.

looking out to protect one of the most upscale brands, and in general, the number of complaints that we are hearing from toyota drivers, in general, that is definitely growing, especially in terms of the gas pedal issue. >> i have been receiving this. it is amazing that there are people who are not reporting these. once people watch your report, it will get bigger than what we are seeing right now. >> that's something to keep in mind. when you complain to your dealer, they don't necessarily tell the federal government, the nths, she just called it ntsa, but if you have a problem, any car, don't just talk to the dealer. if you feel like you are not getting a resolution, send your complaint along. if they get enough of them, they will look into it at the federal government. for the first time this morning, we'll hear directly from the head of toyota. a news conference is supposedly just getting underway in japan. again, the first we are hearing from the head of toyota.

delaware. here's the expanse of the storm system. we have two low pressure regions. one at the surface kicking up the rain from the gulf. the upper level support is still across the plains, but look at all the snow coming in. nebraska and north dakota stretching all the way down to the ohio valley, then it is all rain from about kentucky down to georgia and into the panhandle of florida. where is the snow? right now it is aligning in northern north carolina and virginia and stretching to maryland by later this morning, four to six inches of snow. indianapolis through columbus and getting on in towards cleveland, just south of you, one to two feet of snow. the bull's-eye is d.c., baltimore and philadelphia. you are going to be fighting it out to see who has the most snow by tomorrow afternoon. look at the snow right now. it is all white. the pink is a mixture of snow and sleet. the greens and the blues are all rain, and that's heavy at time from north carolina down into south carolina, georgia and a mean squall line is breaking through western florida right now. look at the blizzard warnings right now because of the winds gusting up to 50 miles an hour.

poor visibility due to snow. one to two feet near washington. 18 inches near the jersey shore and out to delaware. you are looking at a bad situation by altoona as well. that's where the bull's-eye snow will be located, so near d.c. stretching to just south of new york. let me show you live washington, d.c. not showing snowing now, maybe around noon. the heavy snow is overnight for you. then up the line farther into new york, you are currently in the winter storm watch. you might get slammed with either three to five inches or snow or zero. that's how close the snow line will get to you. i think you will get cooked with three to five. the winter storm watch for manhattan right now. we'll look out west in about a half hour. >> they are ready with the snowplows. new york does not stop. thanks. we are watching the court hearing this morning involving an alleged john edwards' sex tape. you might have heard about it. the judge may decide what happens to the video that supposedly shows john edward and his mistress.

it was a combination of pneumonia and prescription drugs that killed actress britney murphy. the l.a. county coroner ruled her death was, in fact, an accident. it did not say what types of drugs she used, but they were all prescription medications. the 32-year-old star of "clueless" and other movies collapsed at her hollywood home in december. her mother insists she did not misuse prescription drugs. they will talk about her tragic death tonight on ""larry king live"." at 9:00 p.m. eastern time. a deal has been reached between ireland and britain. the new agreement will let northern ireland have more say about provincial affairs. gerri adams called the move a step in the right direction. >> this is about leadership and about unused spirit that is

the forecasts is that unemployment will stay at around 10%. but there's also hope that maybe most of the job losses are behind us. we'll be watching that one. breaking news this morning. we have been watching toyota's news conference. toyota's ceo has apologized for all the safety-related programs and says he set up a committee to raise quality control. we are keeping our eye on that, but they don't have a translator there, so it has been in japanese. we are watching the stories and watching the news conference as it goes. another car trouble story. i think when you click and crack this morning, ford will fix more than 17,000 cars. the ford fusion and the mercury milan, they have a software glitch that's causing, not a braking problem, but if you are driving, you think it is a braking problem. that's a problem there. so it is not a recall, but ford says owners can bring in their cars and they will update the software for free. what kinds of perks would you like to have at work?

just a tragic accident. our concern all along has been that we want to make sure that this man can never do this to anyone again. >> people inside the sweat lodge were exposed to extreme temperatures. survivors say people were passing out, vomiting and collapsing after spending five days fasting and skipping sleep. a man accused of attacking two people with a samurai sword in atlanta is due in court in just a few hours from now. he allegedly slashed a university researcher inside a science building at georgia tech. it happened yesterday. then he's accused of entering injuring a campus police officer. police had to use pepper spray to stop him. >> we started getting residual of the bomb they dropped, it is a pepper spray, completely safe. >> he had blood on his hand and shirt and stuff. >> georgia tech says the allegedly attacker got his ph.d. in arrow space seng engineering from the college. both victims are listed in stable condition. well, the owners of both

or not l.a. authorities are ready to arrest him or not. negotiations hit a snag last night. we, of course, are tracking it case. joining us live is "in session's" beth karas from our sister network trutv. >> there will not be a surrender today and the charges will not be filed today. dr. murray could not be arrested by the l.a.p.d. unless a complaint were filed and that triggers an arrest warrant and then they can pick him up and book him. the alternative is to do wah they want him to do which is surrender, but there were terms to the surrender that needed to be worked out. once the complaint's filed the case is in the criminal justice system and the judge is assigned and the judge will mediate any issues, but up until that, time, the district attorney holds the cars and murray can agree or not agree. he agreed to come into the jurisdiction and that was his

choice to surrender. he could have been picked up arrested out of state, but he had to abide by certain terms and they just reached an impasse. >> he faces serious charges, is that right? involuntary manslaughter is what he's looking at? >> it's one of the lowest of homicide charges that carries, two, three or four years in prison as a maximum, but if he's convicted of a felony it could cause accusations to be filed against him in the medical boards where he's licensed in three states and he could lose his license to practice medicine. the stakes are high for him. not just a prison term, but also his livelihood. beth karas, thanks for the breaking news and new information. thanks. ten americans are charged with kidnapping 33 children in haiti. the attorney general's office under haitian law anyone accused of kidnapping a child is not eligible for bail, is not eligible and conviction on the kidnapping charge carries a maximum of life in prison.

from the dakotas and iowa to the surface low with all of the rain moving through kentucky and tennessee, stretching all of the way down into western florida. right now, miami, you guys are dry. traveling down there for the super bowl or any of the events down there, we'll see showers and thunderstorms overnight tonight in through tomorrow morning and by sunday it clears up pretty nicely, the high on sunday for the super bowl, 71, mostly sunny skies. everything should be okay, but not sure up to the north. they extend way out to the west. you can see them around ohio and indiana and stretch in north carolina because of the snow. one to two inches worth when you get to northern virginia and so far it looks worse than what's actually happening. most of this is evaporating around the d.c. area. give it another couple of hours and you'll start to see the snow taper in and then it will pick up in intensity overnight

>> leslie, i do have a question. how do your clients become a part of opportunity builders? >> they are funded for the developmental disability administration. if someone is interested, if a family is interested in having family members participate in an opportunity with opportunity builders, they would call and then we would direct them to our director of employment that would start them through the process of the program. >> once they're in the program, do you also provide training before the clients either work in the warehouse or go out to work with your partner businesses? >> absolutely. in the warehouse, we do have an instructor to assist individuals with each contract, and as far as the individuals who go out into the community and work, we do training for those individuals. they have a one on one coach so we'll make sure the individual knows how to do the job before we have them working on their

in the last hour, the ceo of toyota apologized for all of the problems with his company's cars. it was his first news conference since the company recalled millions of cars around the world last month. he insists, though, toyotas are safe. he hasn't decided whether to recall the prius despite questions about its brakes. congratulation, senator. welcome. welcome. the man who toppled the senate health care bill with his special election victory was sworn in yesterday. massachusetts republican scott brown won the late ted kennedy's senate seat, leaving the democrats one vote short of the filibuster-proof majority.

he's willing to work with democrats and congress should start over on the health care reform bill. those were the headlines. we hope you're having a great friday so far. good morning to you if you're just getting up, i'm susan hepd ricks in on this friday for robin meade. former president bill clinton returns to haiti today to meet with leaders and oversee earthquake aid going into the country. here is clinton behind me visiting a haitian hospital last month. he is a u.n. special envoy for the country and has been given the extra responsibility of watching reconstruction efforts there. president obama asked mr. clinton and former president george w. bush to help raise relief funds as well. haiti's prime minister, meanwhile says 312,000 people died in that earthquake and more than 1 million people are homeless. unicef and its partners have launched a campaign to protect haitians against diseases, they're giving vaccinations against measles, rube ale and whooping cough to make a few. the national tea party

convention startsst first full day today. 600 activists will hold safeguards on cutting taxes and imposing president obama's agenda. they gave a speech slamming immigrants. people who could not spell the word vote or say it in english. put a committed, socialist idea log in the white house his name is barack hussein obama. >> sarah palin will give the keynote speech tomorrow. the terror suspect accused of trying to blow up a plane on christmas day is helping the u.s. hunt for a radical cleric. that is the cleric seen here on the left and the suspect umar far okay abdulmutallab on the

it starts at:00 p.m. eastern here on hln. a severe winter storm is all along the east coast, really slamming, i believe, new jersey, also virginia, bob, is that right? >> yeah. it will get up that way shortly. it's already in virginia and it's headed up to the northeast. the heavy snow should be just south of nyc. this weather brought to you by red lobster. let me show you the huge weather maker i'm talking about. your upper level low is right across the plains and snow falling. into omaha and gets into central iowa and parts of minneapolis and back toward north dakota. 3 to 5 inches of snow for you guys. you get to the east and the rain gets shuttled on up into the gulf of mercks co. and pow, here comes your snow. keep in mind, most of the snow falls around d.c. and philadelphia, and just south of new york, overnight tonight into

tomorrow morning. 16 to 24 inches of snow. philadelphia about a foot to a foot and a half of snow is possible and especially the southern suburbs and then there's the blizzard warning for south jersey and delaware with winds gusting at 50 miles per hour. new york, you're right on the cusp and you can see 0 or 4 to 8. it's the real heavy snow line and no snow line will be between 30 to 40 miles of each recall. the advisories in blue/green. the red shaded counties and at least a foot in some areas from northern virginia. look at the rain coming up out of the south and now it's snow when you get to central virginia and back toward maryland and most not hitting the ground yet. give it time, around midday or so, and overnight around new york city. look at the blizzard warnings now. pink shaded areas all of the way back down toward delaware and-y rain, we had that too, across the deep south especially into

>> we want to share some breaking news with you. the unemployment rate improved in january, yet more jobs were lost during the month. moneyec pert jennifer westhoven

will explain what looks like a contradiction. >> these never go hand in hand. they're two different surveys. we're talking about jobs that were lost, 20,000. really, the bottom line on that is it tells us that the bulk of the job losses does seem to be behind us. the unemployment number came in at 9.7% and frankly, that number is really surprising some economists out there and part of it, you know, they're just saying we don't necessarily see so much improvement out there ask that the rate should have come down, but the report also showed a lot more discouraged workers. basically, people who are unemployed, you get counted for a while, but when you stop looking for work they don't necessarily count you the same way so you're not necessarily included in the unemployment rate. there are statistical discrepancies, but the thinking is they're want quite sure about the employment number. the job market is still very tough out there, and the good

news is again, at least the bulk of the massive job destruction seems to be behind us. we're talking about 8.5 million jobs lost since the recession. >> that is huge when you say it like that. thank you. all right. we have an update for you know. we have just learned that michael jackson's doctor is not expected to turn himself in at a los angeles courthouse today, is not. sources told "in session's" beth karas of our sister network, trutv. talks broke down last night over whether murray should be arrested or allowed to surrender. as you know, michael jackson died last summer while under murray's care. we're following this developing story for you. some of you can train all you want, but you won't see much improvement in your endurance. that is because of the genetic makeup in one of five people, but researchers warn that is no excuse to hang up those running shoes. in fact, they say the new findings could help people

i hope you're having a great friday so far. we want to tell you about that sex tape allegedly featuring john edwards. it will be at center of a court hearing today. former edwards' aide are contesting a restraining order from riel hunter. the video shows a pregnant woman. she gave birth to edwards' daughter, but she claims the tape is from 2006. new for you in 45 minutes we're going to hear from a woman who says her toyota truck just took off and she couldn't stop it, not until it hit a tree so stay tuned for that. a man says that his dog saved his life. 72-year-old john callahan fainted during an evening walk and his dog named buddy, there he s never left his side and kept barking until a neighbor called police. >> people call the police for all kinds of things and apparently somebody was just annoyed by the barking dog that night. they don't know how important that phone call was. >> yes, it was.

callahan is a diabetic. doctors told him he would have died if he hadn't been found in the half hour after he fainted. a fitting name for that dog, buddy, right? >> definitely. >> the owners of both teams in the super bowl this sunday, they're of course, pretty popular right now, but rafer, it wasn't always like that. >> every team owner it goes through ups and downs with fans, but not like these guys. these owners went from being villains to vilified. first after katrina devastated new orleans in the superdome, there were rumors that saints owner tom benson was going to move the team to another city. benson always denied the, but just those rumors alone made him a hated man with some people in that city, but benson stood by his word. he never moved the team and as you know the city has never been more excited. colts owner jim urse, he wasn't hated, but his dad was for moving the colts in 19 4.

reason you think it is a manufacturing problem or might be bigger, file a complaint to the nhtsa. if they get a lot of them, they look into that. you're doing your part for the greater good there. new this morning, 20,000 jobs lost in january that's out from the labor department out just an hour ago but the report showed unemployment coming down to 9.7%, the best showing in four months. you may be thinking, really? the discrepancy between the two different surveys there. the bottom line, the job market is still very tough and the good news if you look at 20,000 jobs lost small compared to what we have seen. most of the job destruction may be behind us. just a few days back from haiti and already some tough news i have to share with you about something known as normal weight obesity. this is what we're talking about.

people pay attention to their weight and for good reason. important to get on the scale and if your weight seems normal i have decreased my chance of developing all sorts of different problems and you probably have, but, if you have something known as normal weight obesity where your body fat percentage is too high and lean muscle mass is too low you may still be at increased risk. this is sort of the important point here. people who fall in the category of normal weight obesity about four times the risk of developing metabolic syndrome. hypertension and high cholesterol and diabetes. a lot of people focused on this. they guess around 30 million americans may fall in this category right now. so, here's the important thing, first step, probably get your body fat checked. if you're not sure where you fall in this. get it checked. pretty good job of checking it within 10%, better reading in your doctor's office and maybe

your gym has a machine to test this. men 23% and for women over 33%. the second piece of advice here, depending on what you are doing, you may want to add more resistance training to your workout and interval training and do things to build muscle mass and also, again, changing the percentages in body fat, muscle mass, it helps with that, as well. tuck that term back away. back to you.

self-help guru james arthur ray has pleaded not guilty in the deaths of three people during the ceremony of three people last year in arizona. now, ray's defense team said everyone knew the risks but prosecutors and families of the victims say he was responsible for their safety. ray's attorney spoke to larry king last night.

people that ought not to be politesized. second, and the supreme court just had a case about this last year, which called in to question, the very nature of campaign contributions to judges. the supreme court said in that particular case, the judge had toe recuse himself because he received money from one of the lawyers that was appearing before him. they didn't say where the line is, but it really points out the problem of these people running for judge, and the first people they call -- in fact the only people they can call are the people that know they are the judge, which are the people that appear before them. and the third problem we have is minorities on the bench. we have 24 jurisdictions in maryland. two are ma joerty/minority.

sworn in yesterday. massachusetts republican scott brown took the late ted kennedy senate seat leaving them one vote short of a filibuster majority. congress should start over on health care reform. those were the top stories. so good to see you on this friday. i'm susan hendricks. in case you're just waking up, here's what you missed. earlier this morning the ceo of toyota apologized for all of the problems with his company's cars. the first news conference since the company recalled millions of cars around the world last month. he insists toyotas are safe and he hasn't decided to recall the prius but ordered the company to deal with the problem quickly. a california woman said her toyota tundra accelerated out of control last year. she suffered neck and back injuries when her truck jumped the curb and hit a tree. >> as soon as i touched the accelerator, it just, it just jumped.

i mean it just went. it went over the curb and there was nothing i could do. i was too close to the curb to be able to do anything. and i pressed the brakes. i did, i did everything that i thought i could and i couldn't get my car to stop. >> she says she is now considering legal action. the terror suspect accused of trying to blow up a plane on christmas day is helping the u.s. search for a radical cleric. abdullmutallab is on the right. it may provide fresh clues to capturing the cleric in yemen. he has been tied to the 9/11 hijackers. it was a combination of pneumonia and prescription drugs that killed actress britney murphy. murphy's death was, in fact, an accident. seit did not say what type of drugs murphy used but all

prescription medications. the 32-year-old star of "clueless" and other movies collapsed in her hollywood home in december. she did not abuse prescription drugs and they will talk more about her tragic death tonight on cnn's "larry king live." the first ever national tea party convention is going on right now in nashville. last night former congressman tom ten credo kicked things off with a speech slamming immigrants. >> people who could not even spell the word vote or say it in english put a committed sociolog in the white house his name is barack hussein obama. >> folks familiar with the tea party movement tend to like what they're seeing. a cnn research opinion poll

shows overall 33% of the public has a favorable view of the tea party movement. that is higher than the 26% who said they have an unfavorable view. fresno, california, tops the list when it comes to drinking alcohol. the drunkest city in the country. it looked at things like liver disease and dui crashes. also on top of that last reno, nevada, and billings, montana. boston is on the least city along with yonkers, rochester and salt lake city. >> i used to live up in syracuse and let's just say there wasn't a lot to do up there in the winter time when it was so snowy. >> boston, maybe the colder cities, who knows. the study was done. interesting study. >> good stuff. >> we're talking about the huge winter storm, folks on the east coast really bracing for it. >> a monster. you have the freezing rain, heavy rain and the snow and everything moving eastward and look how wide this thing is.

upper level low and still back across the plains and the surplsu surface low generating all the rain. look at all the green and yellows come right out of the panhandle of florida right towards georgia and the carolinas and hits the cold air mass and condenses right to snow and heavy at times. all kind of winter storm warnings through virginia all the way back up to the mason dixon and back to indianapolis and all the blue/green shaded areas. k.c. south of chicago and then picks up around the ohio valley and into areas like d.c. who gets the bullseye? let me show you this map. pretty impressive over the next 24 to 36 hours. one and a half feet to two feet of snow between washington and philadelphia. even the west virginia mountains could top over two feet of snow. where is the snow located right

now? let me get back to the maps. virginia towards maryland and the heavy stuff approaching towards d.c. and not hitting the ground yet. give it to noontime and after that and heavier snow move in and then late in the afternoon for philadelphia and evening to overnight for new york city. blizzard warnings out there in jersey down towards delaware and reason why, winds gusting at 50 miles per hour and heavy rain coming out of the gulf of mexico and nice squall line through tallahassee and now moving up towards the north and you can see it there and out west all snow and nebraska towards iowa and stretching right towards kansas city and farther out west across the coast, more rain right around the bay area stretching in towards l.a. and in towards las vegas, as well. take you live to miami. if you're traveling down here for the super bowl. rain and thunderstorms overnight. and now kind of a dreary day. by sunday things look fine. 71 degrees and mostly sunny and weather not a factor in the super bowl. keep that in mind while you're wagering legally.

16.5%. so, are you looking for work? you might want to think about trying dollar general. the retail announced plans to hire 5,000 new workers to staff 600 new locations and dollar general has done well during the recession luring consumers with discounted merchandise. facebook has reached another milestone a day after its sixth anniversary. it's registered its 400 millionth friends. if facebook would be a country, it would be the third most populous in the world. >> if you're a wanted fugitive, don't post anything on there, you'll get caught. >> good point. we're watching a court hearing this morning involved an alleged john edwards sex tape. a judge could decide today what happens to the video that allegedly shows edwards and his

a sex tape allegedly featuring john edwards will be at the center of a court hearing today. andrew young and his wife are contesting a restraining order now from reille hunter. the video shows a pregnant woman. hunter gave back to edwards' daughter back in 2008. she claims the tape was from 2006. we have been talking about tim tebow's super bowl commercial and it has stirred up controversy. joe carter hit the streets to get some of your views.
