we have some new video of those storms that spawned tornadoes throughout the south. take a look. it's footage from ireporter cameron scott in olive branch, mississippi. it shows rain and heavy wind gusts that lasted for about 15 minutes. tornadoes hit at least four southern states yesterday, killing ten people in mississippi. a tornado almost a mile wide kept going for about 150 miles in that state. the pittsburgh steelers did not pick a quarterback in this week's nfl draft. this is another sign that the team is standing by its star, ben roethlisberger, who will bring suspended at the start of the season. the league announced this punishment after georgia prosecutors decided not to file sexual assault charges against him. richelle carey discussed this case with ryan smith, host of "in session" on tru tv and mike

galanos of hln's prime news. >> first of all, i want to know, ryan, you've worked for the nfl. is this what you expected? >> well, i -- i will tell you what i thought might be appropriate, which was eight games. i am not surprised he got six. and that actually fits with the way the nfl usually does things. because in these cases in the past, things like this, these kind of bigger penalties they want to give out from the commissioner, it's usually around four games. so to give him six, it shows that roger goodell sees this as being a very extreme situation so, he is going to give out a harsh penalty. for nfl this is a harsh penalty. >> are you satisfied with this? do you think this is right? >> i said on my program i thought it was going to be four with conditions of two. i think end up being four after ben roethlisberger fulfills conditions. they'll monitor his behavior. yes, i think they got it right. four games, that's a quarter of the season for one of the best quarterbacks in the nfl. and we'll see if is still a steeler after this is all said

a california court will soon decide on a very emotional question, does a brain-damaged woman have a right to see her young children? in 2006 abbie dorn gave birth to triplets, but she had complications during delivery and was left brain damaged, unable to speak or move. a year after it happened, her husband dan told her parents he wanted a divorce. they agreed to it. today dan lives with the children, who will be four in june. his lawyer says his client is worried the kids would be traumatized if they knew their births led to their mom's condition. >> it is not his goal to keep the children away from her. he believes it's his right to make the decision, and when it's age appropriate where they can understand the horrible tragedy, he'll be the first one on a plane to take them to see her mother. >> dan dorn's lawyer says his ex-wife is legally incapable of making decisions about her kids, and that is based on a 2007 report in which a neurologist described abbie dorn's condition
