their fairfield apartment on crowly lane and both later died. who are police zooming in on. >> heard four gun shots and that's when i saw her laying on the front door. >> reporter: it was a woman shot and dying on this door step. her boyfriend was also shot and dying nearby. >> i just heard somebody zeme inging. >> reporter: the shooter police have identified as ricardo martinez de leon has been on the run since. >> he's a very dangerous guy. >> reporter: police say de leon is the ex-boyfriend of the woman that was killed. she recently moved in with her boyfriend after a long term relationship. at around 6:00 on friday evening police say he came here to confront her. >> it was a loud argument and

had dialogue with police earlier. >>. >> reporter: this apartment manager thinks police didn't do their job. >> the police responded did all they could do in making sure she was safe. she chose to make sure she didn't return until 1:00 in the morning. >> reporter: he maybe driving i '99 dodge van and a license plate 8h 03092. >> whoever sees him, call 911 and help us get him and he needs to pay for what he did. >> we're still waiting for the coroner's office to wait until who died over night.

cbs 5. two suspected gang members are in custody tonight accused of a double murder more than two months ago. they shot two men outside a san jose complex last august. the 19-year-old woman was also shot but she survived. they connected on san antonio court. and the two people arrested are gang members put police won't say if heir gang related. a police officer being -- he was their first officer to get to the scene of a shooting at pine and franklin streets. a gun man shooting from the window in an apartment building. he lost his life in 1994. a community moating in oakland tonight to discuss the
