general. well, governor jerry brown will unveil his budget tomorrow and he's already warned it will be painful. there will need to be a deep cut, he wants to restructure state government. he's expected to propose a special election to extend temporary taxes that are expiring in july. our meteorologist is joining us now to talk about this week's forecast. we've been talking fog all week long but now that it is gone, we are seeing some very cold temperatures around the bay area right now. looking outside, yep, we're looking pretty good right now. have you mostly clear skies. it is cold, folks. high pressure, well it's bringing us some sunshine. more sun than what we've seen in the past 6 days or so, but a lot of cold air working it's way in from the gulf of alaska.

that's helped to clear out the fog for the most part. we still may see a couple of patches of dense fog early tomorrow morning. it's not going to be that widespread blanket of fog. it's going to be a cold start to the day, even by the afternoon these temperatures still running up into the 40s and 50s for high. let's talk about those cold temperatures right now. to the freezing in livermore. 34 degrees in santa rosa. we're working on a very cold night. the temperatures are dropping off all around the bay area. if you do plan on traveling around the state, you have to get through the patchy fog early on. high country, well, looking pretty good. want to do a little skiing up there, rots -- lots of snow and some cold temperatures to go

along with that. you know what, for tonight, it's going to be chilly, told temperatures all around the bay area. when you get up tomorrow morning, probably widespread frost. tomorrow morning's lows, how about 28 degrees in santa rosa. 29 in livermore, you get the idea, a very cold start to monday morning. but as we head into the attach, a little season -- into the afternoon, a little sunshine. lots of 50s there. still cool in many spots inland. warmer days to come as we're going to see some clouds return and even some rain. numbers running up into the 40s and 50s in much of the north bay and looking out over the next couple of days, we're going to bring with you tell -- bring with it some more clouds. doesn't look like a big storm, then another chance of rainfall
