streets across green bay wisconsin. they won 31-25 in super bowl xlv in arlington, texas. not everyone who was at the game was in the mood to he will s -- was in the mood to celebrate. before the game more than a thousand games got super angry. >> these fans were kept behind a gate at the new billion dollar cowboy stadium even though they bought tickets. that's because at the last minute, the the the fire marshall deemed the seats in their section unsafe. >> we drove from green bay wisconsin through bad area to get here. >> about 800 fans were allowed to watch the game from other seats in the nose bleed section. 400 others were turned away and

[ cheering and applause ] >> reporter: tonight the celebration was theirs. for some people of course -- for some people, it doesn't matter who wins the game, it's all about final score and the office football pool. >> scammers are using the phone to scandal money. each time the suspects called the victims and got them to wire money abroad. in one case the suspect claimed to be the victim's grandson. another time a victim was told she won the lottery.

always be suspicious of cause asking for money to be wired abroad. police are looking for a woman they believe was abducted from an apartment complex. witnesses saw police they saw two men chase the woman down and corner her in an apartment building. they say she was aassaulted and then thrown into a car and it drove off. if you see it, you're asked to call police. an 8th grade girl is missing. dozens of students and teachers handed out fliers. her family is concerned because she did not come home from school on friday and they haven't heard from her. >> we just want her to come back. your mom is worried about you. if you can call her, anything. >> we really miss you and we wish you could be here with us

because you don't know how much we miss you and how your mom and your family misses you. >> reporter: she is 4' 11'. she speaks spanish. you're asked to contact police if you know where she is. some people in hercules say their city leaders are abusing their power. they decided to do something about it. the petition campaign to throw them out. >> reporter: just about everyone else in hercules was in a super bowl party, but leaders were having a petition party. preliminarily copying and validating petitions to be sure the names they have collected are enough to force the recall election of two city council members. mr. young says citizens were more than eager to sign. >> of all the people we asked to sign the petition, i would say less than 35 have actually not wanted to sign. they know about it, they are

angry and they want to do something about it as citizens. >> reporter: recall campaigners worked hard and fast putting in 1,000 hours and going door to door. they say two council members supported the questionable sweet heart development deals. >> as these things start coming out, the fact that the former city manager had contracted a multi-million dollar contracts with his daughters, those things made citizens mad. >> it wasn't too hard to get the signatures. >> that's correct. >> they say it's a grassroots campaign run on a shoe string. this collection bucket helped raise 3,000 dollars. if they are successfully, then what. >> they are going to have major problems to deal with in terms of the finances, in terms of cash flow, in terms of the development projects.

we hope they can put a plan together. >> reporter: recall target ward says she recognizes the city council in which she was a member lost the public trust. she plans to try to restore it. the other one says hercules finances are a big mess. had he known he never would have run for public office. >> thank you very much. well, two of the three americans accused of espionage in iran appeared at a closed- door session in their trial today. they entered not guilty pleas. their court a pointed lawyer was barred from' seeing his clients before the trial. both men appeared healthy and gave their investigation -- version of the incident that has kept them in prison since 2009. a dispute at a fraternity house in ohio. one person was killed, 11 others were injured. it happened near youngstown at an off-campus house. a 25-year-old student tried to break up the crowd, he was fatally shot. a 17-year-old suffered a critical head wound. the two suspects were later arrested. the bodies of two teenagers swept off a rock into the ocean have now been recovered. the 17 and 18-year-olds were with a group of teens when the weave hit -- wave hit. wild fires have destroyed more than 40 houses and damaged another 19. wind gusts and the flames are hampering the efforts of fire crews in australia. hundreds ever people spent the night in emergency shelters. the fires are the latest in a

just look at these pictures, it was a spectacular day. >> it was great. i tell you what, though. i think there's going to be a run on some of those sweat shirts in the not too distant future. what an evening around the bay area. sill very nice conditions at this hour. as we head in towards tomorrow, you will begin to notice some changes as high pressure begins to break down somewhat. 60s and a few 70s. out toward the coastline, may see a couple of patches of fog develop out there. still, how impressive was today. 77 that was a record in san jose. 81, a record in oakland. it's a record for the entire month simply just smashing the record of 68 degrees. san francisco, also a record. records really set all around the bay area, very similar to yesterday when we broke 14 records. and it looks like this will probably be the last day of the

record heap. impressive. north bay, you had hot weather just about everywhere. it was pretty warm outside. 62 degrees. 60 degrees in vallejo. high pressure has been holding on. it was a very impressive ridge. at the same time, that cranked up the temperatures but now beginning to break down. you see this front driving over the top of this ridge. it's going to allow for more of a sea breeze kick in. you're going to see that happening tonight and tomorrow. that will usher in some cooler air. not going to be freezing around the bay area but the numbers are coming down. 50s and 60s out toward the coastline. not bad at all. lots of sunshine, plenty of sunshine to be found in knowledge of the valleys. and the north bay where we had some 80s today not going to get even close by tomorrow afternoon. not bad, either. looks like we're in for some

major changes. we've got some cooler air working its way in toward the bay area. breezy conditions into tuesday. by wednesday, yes -- we may warm things up a little bit. by this next weekend, we may just see some showers return into the bay area. looks like the whole pattern is beginning to shift and well likely see some more rain on the way as we head into the extended period. >> all this glorious weather will be just a memory. >> we will be thinking about how wonderful that weekend was. >> thank you. well, how about this, with all the snow mitch was -- michigan was hit with last week, die hard packers' fans creating something special. they also made an over sized packers' helmet. took about seven hours to create. gas prices continue to keep climbing across the country. the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded rose one

and a half cents in the last two weeks. 3.12 is now the average price. analysts now say earlier forecasts of 3.50 to $4 by the summer is unrealistic. good news for the earn in auto industry. ford says it's selling more vehicles so it's going to increase u.s. factory production. in san francisco today, ford's sales exec says the factory production will go up by 13% in the first quarter. cannons booming, a 21-gun salute. fighters roaring overhead. how friends and colleagues remember the gipper on his 100th butter day. fee court is now in session.
