it's county fair season in california, but the fairs are having a tough time in a tough economy and that could effect the decade tradition. >> there are plenty of reasons to go to a fair. the rye -- to a county fair. the rides are fun and i like to see the animals. >> curly fries. >> it's the opening weekend at the san mateo county fair, and people are enjoying all the spoils. state leaders are talking about cutting $32 million in susdidies in county fairs. >> that is not right. it's a huge hit to the fair industry. it's part of the state of california. >> organizers here in the county take $150,000 from the
