killed with his sleeping wife. the neighbor who heard gunshots said a dark 4 door. the 46-year-old man declared dead at the scene. his daughter told cbs 5 their home had been targeted before. >> i woke up and then heard a lot of shots. >> reporter: after the first shooting, annie sook said they were shot again but for the corner. there was a bullet shot through the door. >> the first one was at her house too. >> reporter: do you have any idea why someone would shoot your house? >> no. my father stays in the house. he doesn't have no enemies. >> reporter: the killing came after a peace march for gun

it careened down an aisle. >> apparently he accelerated down the lobby and ended up on the farside of the lobby by starbucks. >> although damage to the store was extensive, the driver was not hurt. it's not clear if he'll be crated. the robber in the neighborhood, all it took was a red light. neighbors called 9-1-1 yesterday morning to report several people breaking into a vacant home. when officers responded, the suspect was waiting at a red light. police recovered a flat screen tv, jewelry, and the investigators are discovering whether they're behind other in the area. san francisco working to make schools safer for lbgt

the international space station. >> reporter: the launch scheduled on february '7, less than two months from now. the supplies will be delivered by a dragon space capsule. this is the dragon 1 that returned unscathed last year. a newer model will be launched in this space x promotional video released in 2009. >> all of this is a precursor to doing it with people on board. that's why i came to space x, to go to the next step. once we can deliver the laundry and the mail, now we can deliver the people. >> reporter: it will deliver food and equipment for when it's launched in february. the people in the space x facility in hawthorne said this is the beginning of something

when it burned down. the fire left an endanger of collapse, so the city blocked off the avenue and haste street and that caused a mess of a headache that some of the stores lost more than half their business. >> go around and around to get here and the parking was what it is. >> reporter: over the past week, the city finally knocked the building down and reopened the streets. just across haste street from this pile of rubble is a lot that's been empty for decades, growing weeks and adding to the general blight. so the city is forcing the owner to have new developments. >> it's a wonderful opportunity to turn that around. my hope is everything will be taken care of and come back to telegraph avenue and the city will cooperate and help us out here and fill this hole that's been provided for us. >> reporter: in berkeley and

showers by thursday. overnight, upper 30s back in the bay with the mid to low 40s. temperatures warm to just above the freezing mark. just some patchy frost, and generally quite a bit warmer than it has been of late. we see a mix of low clouds and then at this hour, we got low moving to shore with the breeze coming. a slight chance of showers late tomorrow. it's early monday. the high pressure system weakens and backing off shore a bit. allows the pacific northwest developing along the coast. it will bring the slight chance of showers to the beaches. better chance of rain on thursday. it follows the same path and once again parallels the coastline and moves to our south and cooling temperatures as it crosses the regions. more clouds and rain.

chances of rain showing up with most of the moisture staying off shore. air quality improves tomorrow a little bit. santa chara valley, pretty good. air quality around after a stagnant three or four days, finally getting mixing in the atmosphere with temperatures tomorrow expected to cool in the mid to low 50s for most locations. that's a food drop from where we were today. we'll see a gradual warm-up. a few degrees here every day as we bring in clouds. maybe a drop or two on monday. better chances or thursday into a light chances of showers across the area, as for the most part. some rainful this time of year. >> yeah, we'll take it.
