the cal band is getting tuned up on max well family field. and the football team is doing the same inside memorial stadium for this week's matchup versus usc. while police are investigating the teams off field antics. on friday afternoon, runningback was beaten during a fight in the locker room. the fresh man was first taken to get his ears stitched up and be treated for a concussion. the fight was quick, less than two minutes according to sources, but long enough to draw investigation, but not an arrest yet. >> in this case, more than likely what we'll do is prepare the case and we'll submit it to the district attorney and student conduct for review. >> cal athletics being equally tight lipped, choosing not to post the weekly online. instead, releasing this statement. >> we are fully cooperating with an investigation into an instent involving members of

county want the d.a. to file charges against the deputy who shot and killed andy lopez. protesters started the day at the board of supervisor's meeting and hours later, marched the d.a.'s office. another rally is set for saturday. bay area polling places closed about two hours ago and the results are coming in. at the moment, measure c in sunny vail, that's the series of gun control laws is on track to move forward. right now with 7% of precincts reporting, 70% of people have voted yes. 30% are against it. now again, these results are not final. and in san francisco, voters weighed in on the war over the waterfront that is being called. so far, with 55% of the precincts reporting, the majority of voters are against proposition b, which focuses on the eight washington development. and it looks like proposition c, which would extend building height limits on washington street may not be passing uter. is far, 65% of the voters are

against it. we will have more on this coming up at 11:00. san francisco's city parks will soon be off limits overnight. the board of supervisors voted to close the parks from midnight to 5:00 a.m. supporters say the idea is to cut down the estimated $1 million the city spends on dealing with vandalism and illegal dumping every year. homeless advocates say that the new ordinance displaces thousands of homeless people who go to parks to sleep at night. could take a month for the new law to take effect. >> it's a go, the san jose city council has given the okay to shoot and kill wild pigs. the swine have been roaming neighborhoods and tearing up lawns for weeks now. they are causing thousands of dollars in damage. and kit doe explains not everyone can pull the trigger. kit. >> hey there, we are live at what can best be described as ground zero for the wild bores. this is a good place to spot
