shooting range...in case he gets stuck. the range...is paved with small round pebbles..that make getting around in his chair difficult. using a shooting bench is also a chalalnge. "changing the bench set up here, to something that i can get under with my chair. it's kind of hard to reach," said al lenters. to fix those issues....lenters is teaming up with the tri-state public range association. together they plan to make the shooting range handicapped--acce ssible. the group has created a go-fund me account....to help raise funds for the project. a link to the go fund me account..is posted on the abc-9 facebook page. tonight at 10 i'll more on the project. reporting live in studio deborah souverain abc 9 news. allison: early this morning, s sux city fire and scue responded to a fire at cargill incorporated.

firefighters discovered a small fire that was determined to have been started due to an electrical switchgear malfunction. cargill employees were required to de-energize the equipment before fire crews were able to put out the fire. no injuries were reported. allison: and it seems fire crews had a busy morning as they also had to extinguish a fire at a house in sioux city that is now being ruled an arson. sioux city fire rescue has determined that a structure fire to a residence on silver street was set intentionally, the first floor of the two story home suffered heavy damages. early this morning, firefighters were called back totohe residence to extinguiui an area that had re- ignited on thehe second floor of f the house. nononjuries were reported. allison: as the caucuses inch closer, several presidential candidates continue to pepper the hawkeye state with numerous campaign stops. including democratic presidential candidate bernie sanders who spoke at a house party event in iowa city this afternoon, as part of his two-day swing through the state. while at the podium, sanders tackled tough

topics including poverty and campaign finance. he also addressed recent the decision to inhibit social security cost of living, or cola, increases. the walk stands for communities responding to overcome poverty. malnutrtion affects 150 million children worldwide so for many local families, it's a cause they're pasionate about. kelly has now spent more time in space than a a other americanan according to na, friday was his 383rd day living in space. that's a new record for cumulative stay. kelly is now more than halfway through a nearly year-long mission aboard the international space station. he acknowledged the new record.... tweeting "records are meant to be broken." nasa says he is scheduled to come down to 3rd. have spent 522 days in space. still to come another man has set a record, this one in nebraska more on his catch after the break... allison:
