sioux city next tuesday. tim: according to a local trump staffer the businessman will headline a rally at sc west high school beginning at 6pm. doors will open at four. a kind gesture from a local artist is helping a family's last wish come true. tim: wilbur meyer hasalways wanted a scululure of herky the hawkeye in his back yard...but given only a few weeks to live, his family didn't think he'd ever see it happen. jenna: deborah souverain tells how that all changed tim and jenna when wilbur meyer was told he only had a few weeks to live..he gave up on the hope of ever having his favorite mascot "herky the hawk" close to home. but thanks to his children...his final wish is coming true. a die hard hawkeye fan....all wilbur meyer...wanted was for this tree...to be transformed into h h favorite mascoco but suffererg from lung cananr...and given n few weeks to live. his family didn't know if he'd be around to see it happen.

"it was an honor," said klatt jeff..who lost both parents to colon cancer....dropped everything to complete the project in time for wiwiur to enjoy it. natpop -- chain saw "i've been through a tuation like this before and i know any lilile thing helps and d was honored to come and do it for them," said jeff klatt, chainsaw artist. wilbur hasn't seen the sculpture in person yet...because he's to weak to move around. but, he's seen herky in photos..and his daughter nicole..says she's grateful to see her father's last wish come true. it's awesome to see him. it's sad to see him cry because you think he's sad but it's amazing. seeing him soo happy especially in the situation he's in right now. so it's great," said nicole florine. the sculpture is art from the heart...that loved one say is giving wilbur the strength to keep fighting. cancer society is now saying that first screening can be delayed until age 45 if you're at average risk. but, many doctors still say when you get that first test should be weighed carefully with your family doctor. and, abc senior medical editor dr. richard besser says if you still want a mammogram at 40... insurance will still cover it. "insurance companies are required to cover mammograms starting at age 40, so the american cancer society has a lot of sway with doctors, so doctors may change their recommendations, but it will have no impact on insurance coverage." this is the first time the americaca cancer societyty has updated it's recommendations cancer society has updated it's recommendations in 12 years. the new guidelines also say that after age 55, mmograms are only needed every other year, if you're healthy. jenna: probably all of us know someone who's gone through breast cancer... and obably someone who's gone through it in their early 40's. that's why the local susan g. komen for the cure organization and a local hospital are teaming up again with sioux city's

favorite guys in green... to put the focus on what's behind all the pink you see during the month of octotor. more tonight i i your health matters. jenna rehnstrom sioux city musketeer forward connor sundquist is focused in these intense daily practice drills. the 18-year-old has a lot going back home in conneticut, too. his mom is going through breast cancer. connor says, "she's awesome, i mean, she's a trooper; she's the strongest person i know. -- she's definitely had a positive attitude the whole time and it really helps us help her." jenna rehnstrom melissa sundquist is a 42-year-old mom of five boys. connor says her health outlook is positive as she wraps up chemotheraphy and gets ready to start radiation. breast cancer is a jojoney thousands of women in the the u.s. face each year - one out of every eight of us will deal with it in our lifetime. for that reason, this ice will turn pink saturday for the annual pink in the rink breast cancer awareness night at the tyson events center. it's an annual favorite for hockey fans and a chance for local medical professional to get the word out about staying on top of your health. dr. james webb, unitypoint clinic, sunnybrook says, "i

tournament. this year, the chargers won't have that advantage. briar cliff was picked as the team to beat in the gpac today in the preseason coaches poll. the chargers return four starters from last year's 22-11 squad that dropped a two point decision to davenport in the opening round in branson. bcu has a trio of playmakers returning in all- conference guards shane graves, austin lefler and bryan forbes, but even with that talent, the chargers know they have a lot of work left to do. nic nelson--"number one i think it makes me question the judgement of the other coaches in the league, but you know i think it's just a reflection that we've got a lot of guys back from a national tournament team a year ago. we've got good experience, we've got good experience in the back court. i think our guys understand that after today that preseason poll doesn't really mean anything." shane graves--"i don't think any of us are looking at that and saying that makes us feel expected to win games or win a conference championship or anything like that. every year the gpac's good and there's tons of good teams out there, but right now it's just about getting better every day." austin lefler--"i definitely think it's an honor, you know that other teams are thinking of us like that, but the team that we have this year is a totally
