eye-29. the driver then lost control....and rolled over into oncoming traffic...hitting a motorcycle. the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene. the names of the two drivers have not yet been released. deborah: donald trump is returning to sioux city tuesday...for a rally at west high school.. but the g-o-p presidential hopeful might be greeted by protestors. a petition speaking out against trump's visit has collected over 12-hundred signatures. deborah: former west high school student francisco valadez....started the "move-on dot-org" petition valadez says trump has made comments that are hostile against immigrants...and believes he should not be allowed to speak on the school campus. valadez says he hopes to form a protest outside of the rally that is being held at the west high school gym. trumps visit tuesday..comes as he falls to second place in iowa. in the latest des moines register/bloombe rg poll...trump is trailing dr. ben

york city, donning their costumes for halloween. yesterday, dogs participated in the nation's largest halloween dog parade with hundreds of canines and owners taking part in all of the fun. some of the standout costumes were doggie superheroes, dinosaurs and even the pope. ...and coming up, ghosts and goblins aren't the only things you should beware of... this halloween, face paint can be hazardous to health... more to come after the

last night, the musketeers hosted pink in the rink night and for sioux city's connor sundquist, the disease hits close to home. connor's mother, mellisa, is battling breast cancer and before last night's game, she dropped the ceremonial first puck. melissa was able to watch her son play against tri city and to top it all off, connor scored the eventual game- winning goal, earning first star of the night. post- game....connor gave melissa his jersey....wrapping up a special night between a mother and her son. "i am speechless. i don't know what to say, really. to score the first goal of my career here is awesome but for my mom to be here, its even better. when i hear she was coming, i was thinking it would be perfect to score for her, and i wasnt sure it was going to happen, but i found my chance and i put it in and it just felt great." "you are a family who is battling cancer. its pink in the rink night, its kinda scripted. it is really special for their family, really special for connor, its really special for his mother and i am just happy i could be a part of it."

kiana from all of us here at abc9. alex under bo pelini, the huskers never lost five games...when tom osborne was in lincoln, he never lost more than three games in a season. that brings us to mike riley...in his first year, five losses in eight games. yesterday, afteroon, nebraska lost to northwestern 30-28.....falling to 3-5 this season. the huskers also lost a fourth quarter lead for the fourth time this season....under pelini, nebraska lost just three times when leading in the final frame....not looking good in lincoln.
