today neighbors and onlookers were still in shock from last night's incident as it was visually clear that something tragic had happened several hours earlier. "it was probably one of the worst things that i had ever seen happen on this block. just knowing that those kids were trapped inside and how the father was on the opposite side of the house trying to break in to the rooms just to get them out," said campos. four minutes earlier and about a mile and a half away, fire rescue crews were also called to the 2400 block of west forth street at another house fire incident. in a press release from the sioux city rescue department, it stated that no one was home at the time of the fire and the structure of the house was severly damaged that it had to be red-tagged. fire fighters could be seen investigating the home earlier today, as the road was complelty blocked off from vehicles. bria: the center street

hawkeyes..... and they would add on right before the half....derrik mitchell right up the gut....iowa stays undefeated...x-----x the final. alex the hawkeyes now 8-0 for the first time since 2009. they visit indiana next saturday. deborah back to you. deborah thanks alex. now to the latest on the race to the white house... ten g-o-p presidential candidates were in des moines today reaching out to voters. deborah ted cruz, rand paul, chris christie, bobby jindal, marco rubio, mike huckabee, lindsey graham, jeb bush, rick santorum and carly fiorina each had fifteen minutes to speak on stage at the iowa state fairgrounds. campaign booths were available so people could have personal conversations with candidates. the iowa caucuses are set for february of 2016. deborah some of those candidates were also in siouxland today....rallying for support. new jersey governor chris christie held a meet and greet in sioux city this

morning. the event was held at jitters cafe. speaking to the crowd of about fifty...christie said he is ready to be president, and isn't afraid of the responsibilty. attendees say they were surprised by what christie had to say. " i was impressed by what he had to say, for folks here. i think if we had more of these kinds of meeting with the fringe candidates, we would learn more about the issues they have, because they do have a message." deborah the new jersey governor will be back in iowa on november 13th for an event in nevada (nuh-vay-duh). carly fiorina was also in northwest iowa this weekend. we caught up with the republican presidential candidate during her stop in sioux city this morning. dozens of voters packed into the conference room at stoney creek hotel to hear from the former c-e-o. in a one-on-one interview with fiorina.... she talked about wednesday's debate....and said she agrees with the republican national committee's

" they were asking questions designed to sort of make one candidate fight against another as opposed to questions that would give candidates the opportunity to talk about what they stood for. when an audience boos moderators it's pretty clear that there is a bias that people geniunely feel, " said carly fiorina (r) presidential canidate. deborah: she also spoke about her plans to strengthen the economy...and cut spending...using a zero-based budgeting model. the former hewlett packard c-e-o says grassroots campaigns in northwest iowa help her stay connected to issues important to voters. "i'm really greatful to the people of iowa and to the people of northwest iowa because iowans have always taken my campaign seriously," says fiorina. "the polls and the pundits and the money don't mean as much as getting a chance to listen to a candidate, get to know them a little bit, get to know who they are, and most importantly what they will do. happening during this time of year. while most people see zombies or ghosts.... one arizona town had a different freaky visitor... a giant, inflatable pumpkin! stormy weather freed the 14-foot pumpkin from its stand. the giant pumpkin rolled down a road...and made its way through traffic.....knockin g down a pair of street lights during its journey. officials say the inflatable pumpkin was being used to promote the peoria monster bash at the city's sports complex. deborah: take a look at these little super heroes. these kids are all patients at "blank children's" hospital's neo- natal i-c-u....in des moines. so that parents could celebrate
