democratic primaries are moderated by liberal democrats...and that's perfectly fine. that's what you would expect. but i have suggested a very, very simple rule: how about the moderators of republican primaries actually be republicans? " cruz is not the only one who wants the format changed. representatives of several republican presidential candidates plan to meet in the capitol this evening...to discuss their demands for the next debate. reporter mary moloney explains. " it's something unheard of in politics. instead of debating on stage -- rivals in the republican race for president will meet behind closed doors -- united for a change in future debates. (ben carson/(r) presidential candidate): "debates are supposed to be established to help the people get to know the candidates. what it has turned into is a gotcha." questions from debate moderators the candidates call unfair and hostile. (moderator): "your board fired you. i just wondered why you think we should hire you now?" (moderator): "is this a comic book version of a presidential campaign?" the chairman of the party agreed -- complaining moments after the debate. (reince priebus/republican national committee

chairman): "i think it was one gotcha question, one personal low blow after the other." but the change may also involve the r- n-c. at the meeting of the political minds -- candidates will also discuss how their caaigns can get more control from the party. the move may have shaken up the republican leadership. perhaps as a show of power -- the head of the r-n-c announced the party will suspend ties with n- b-c for a debate next year. for their part the candidates say they will let the party know what they discuss at the meeting -- aimed to prevent moments like this. (chris christie/(r) presidential candidate): "we have $19 trillion in debt, we have people out of work, we have isis and al-qaeda attacking us and we're talking about fantasy football?" deborah do you feel more rested today...you should....because we got an extra hour of sleep. daylight saving time ended at 2 a-m today. so if you haven't
