morning. it's the first of 5 stops in western iowa. fiorina's husband "frank" is joining his wife on the campaign trail. it's the first time he's made a western iowa appearance. fiorina took several questions during the hour long event, including how she plans to hold washingtonaccountable if electete as for as s tuesday's debate where fiorina said quote "obama care isn't helping anyone." we asked the candidate to clariffy her comment. "the question is how much better could we do for people. are we really helping people when we throw them into medicade and fewer and fewer doctors are accepgting medacade paymenst. the truth is how much better cocod we be doing for r people and theswer is a lot better, " said carly fiorina. if elected, the former hewlett packard ceo said she'll push for a zero based budget. meaning every line-item in the budget would be scrutinized, not just proposed increases. it's something that tami chrisman of sgt bluff says makes sense. "shes a ceo, this is the deal. she's nono double speaking and shshs right she has to stand up every quarter or she had to stand up and say

where she's at or not and i think all of us, you included we've all had to do that. ive never actually seen carly before and this was very enlightning. " to hear more on where fiorina stands on the issues join me sunday morning at nine, for "this week in siouxland" when the candidate sits down with me for a one on one interview. jenna: earlier this afternoon, former pennsylvania senator rand paul made a campaign stop in altoona. greet at the pizza ranch in town. paul made stops in winterset and ames today as well. jenna: vermont senator and democratic presidential candidate bernie sanders ll be holding a couple events in iowa this sunday. inlcuding a stop in des moines as well as one in indianolfor a town meeting at simpson college. that event starts at 6'oclock on sunday. tim: and speaking of donald trump, he's holding a campaign rally i i fort dodge....on the campus of f iowa c ctral community colle. it started at 6 oclock. jenna:

jenna: its a hard thing to do... just ask any presidential opponent of donald trump's. but one woman managed to take some of the attention away from trump at an event in illinois-- jordan abudayyeh tells us how she did it. " " johari osayi idusuyi's reaction to donald trumps' speech in springfield has landed her in the spotlight, but she showed up to the event on monday for a pretty low key reason. (johari osayi idusuyi/caught reading behind trump) " i'm not genuinely interested in him as a person, but as a presidential candidate, if you have the opportunity why not." she arrived with friends around five e pm when doors opened. she saw the open seats on the stage, but was told it was vip only. a few minutes later, a man offered her the chance to sit behind donald trump. (johari osayi idusuyi/caught reading behind trump) "it wasn't like any type of conniving. we didn't sneak in there. it was just... he asked us, probably for obvious reasons, but we went. we took the opportunity and we sat. and he told us to sit in the middle and we did." after witnessing protesters being thrown out andnd what she calls, bullying, johari says she just lost interest in the event. (nats of donald trump) "get out of here!" (johari osayi idusuyi/caught reading behind trump) "it was probably a mix of educated down

there. everybody of the spectrum cheering for such ignorance. and that's when i wa just taken aback, and that's when my energy had shifted." so johari started reading a book she brought with her called "citizen." it's a series s poems about rara in america. she says her protest wasn't intentional, but she hopes trump and his supporters pick up the book and learn some empathy. (johi osayi idusuyi/caught reading behind trump) "i came here, yes, to observe, kind of, a man that i already had low expectations for. but i thought like, maybe he could change my mind. maybe it was a media thing. and maybe i'm judging to fast based on what the media says. and i was wrong. i wasn't. i mean, he was exactly what i expxpted him to be e d his supporters w we exactly what i expected them to me." johari says some supporters sitting& around her did notice her reading and told her she could leave. but she said since she wasn't being an interruption, she didn't feel the need to. tim: a local hospital is making a push for
