now's the time to export. "some guys have put it to me as phenomenal. they've never seen beans and corn come out they way they did this year " says jolene riessen, ida grove farmer. soybeans yields are at an all time high according to the u- s-d-a. at nearly 4 billion bushels... that's 94 million higher than last month's projection. ida grove farmer jolene riessen is seeing that hold true. "when we're getting between 60 and 65 bushel that's considered very good beans for the year. jeepers, three years ago when we had the drought, we were struggling to get to 60 bushel and now this year we're for the most part, well above that" says jolene riessen, ida farmer. more than 71 bushels this year, but that's not always good news. corn and soybean prices are low, which is also leading to a drop in income for farmers... about 36-percent lower than last year. she thinks it's time to look overseas for more opportunities in exporting crops... because our biggest competitor is suffering with drought conditions and poor yeilds. "now they're looking at a drought type situation the way it's set up with el nino, so if that happens it means that there will be less beans coming from south america into the market which will put the united states in a better spot, as far as for selling, the export markets" says jolene riessen, ida farmer. a recipe for success? riessen already has her wheels spinning

on what the future could hold for her industry. "we are so global, i don't think farmers realize just how global your little farming operation is because it is affected by all over the world" says jolene riessen, ida farmer. elisa on cam if el nino delivers a mild winter, trending forecasts, riessen says... if we get enough precipitation... she would think yields could be just as good next year as well. reporting live in studio, elisa raffa, abc9 news jenna: drake students are already

"thinking im 15000 in probably more.. " like many others, he thought a rock wasnt enough, so he added the metal silhouettes. "soceity is looking favorably on the veterans i want to keep it that way" and the kneeling soldier and cross.
