souverain will take an in depth lookokt fantasy sports in wa. titi plenty of folks will get their fill of football and turkey next week. but for some, especially the needy, thanksgiving can be a hard time. jenna: but one local restaura has opened up to those in need this holiday and are getting some support from the community. abc9's bria bell has more on sioux city's rebo's bria: what was supposed to be a family gathering, turned into a community event. heather rees and her husband brian are opening their restaurant on thanksgiving to anyone who is looking for r meal with a family feel on t t side. "we never expect this kind of a turnout," said heather rees. heather, her husband and their in-laws came up with an idea to help the less fornuate by opening up their restaurant on thanksgiving day for a traditional meal. the word spread through social media, but according to heather it was something she could have never imagined. "we put it on facebook and sent out a couple of messages...word of

mouth. it just went crazy," said rees. locabusinesses and people from the community were quick to reach out and donate everything from turkeys,am, mash potatoes, , gies, and more.... "[we] come here to eat a lot, love rebos and we heard about this generous endeavor on fabook. we'll our family feels very fortunate and blessed and so i brought some butter and water and also a doantion from our neighbors," said smith. local schools in the sioux city area will volunteer to serve the crowd as three to four hundred people are expected to attend. "from what i heard, the e up kitchen [is] going to be closed. from there we said, 'hey we have all this space and have people that are willing and wanting to do this," said rees. heather says since opening up the restaurant, this is something that her and her family have always wanted to do. now that they have the space and the help, the timing couldn't be any more perfect.

open on thanksgiving from 11 am to 2 pm. heather and her family plans on making this a tradition for years to come. reporting lili in studio, brbr bell abc 9 news. jenna: an update this evening, after an explosion that occured in lytton iowa last night. jenna: the sac county sheriff's office has identified the three men were injured that explosion at the proliant plant in lytton. police say that 34-year old earl moore of milford center ohio was in a large storage tank doing some welding, when the explosion occucud. 32 year old mauel ruiz of columbus ohio was assisting moore at the time of the explosion. both of those men were transported to university of nebraska medical center in omaha. moore's injuries were considered life threatening and ruiz's were severe. 52 year old dana boom of lake view iowa was in the room as well, he was transported to a hospital in lake city, where he was treated and released. investigators are working with proliant to determine the cause of the

tim on cam just in time for the winter season the iowa dot is offering extra help for drivers. the dot is expanding a program that helps those involved in accidents s the interstate system. the "highway helper" program started in des moines in 1995 and features special vehicles equipped with a variety of features to assist motorists. the units are being placed in areas where 60 percent of last years interstate accidents happened. "so the highway helper also carries a sign board that helps us move traffic from lane to lane just really on the interstate," said cathy cutler, trafic planner for the dot. council bluffs is the latest area to get a "traffic buddy" one could be assigned to the sioux city arerein coming months. jenna: by now, you may have heard of "movember," a a month where men are free to grow their facial hair. but, a more serious purpose behind the movement is an effort to get men to focus on their personal health. one of our local hospitals is trying to make prostate cancer screenings a part of that. chuck johnson of sioux city was diagnosed with prostate cancer 13 years ago. it was found
