bounty " calls the move a "game changer" in the market. the company takes d-n-a from a chinook salmon... and from a sea eel... to produce a new salmon. which in turn helps the fish grow quickly "in order to get approval from the food and drug administration, they evaluated the fish for safety, they evaluated it for nutritional content, and they evaluated whether the process wawasafe for the sasaon themselves. and onon all three counts the product passed, and so that's why the fda approved it." jenna: dr besser says when scientists compared it with conventionally farmed salmon they couldn't find any differences between the two test groups. from a medical standpoint there's been no evidence that there are health risks from genetically modified food. in fact it's something that's been in the foodindustry for yearar tim: a new spec building is now park of the bridgeport west industrial park and available. city planners and officials from h & r construction toured the 50 thousand square foot space today

agency that provides a warm bed for siouxland homeless picked up a big contribution today. "100-plus men who care", p psented the e arming shelter" on nebraska street with a check for 62-hundred dollars. the presentation is the first for "100-plus men who care." the new group meets once a quarter to nominate worthy non-profit groups to be their beneficiary. the warming shelter plans to use the funds toward the purchase of bunk beds that will replace cots currently being used. the "warming shelter" is at capacity with 77 people 100-plus men who care will make it's next check presentataon in january.y. jenna: tonight, a big event focused on men's health awareness. it's called movember and it's being he at unitypoint health saint luke's atrium right now tim: our very own fred hexom is there right now and hes joining us live with more..... fred how's it going? fred: tim and jenna im here at st. lukes as part of movember.....

tim: also this month, a local business is putting the spotlight on child hunger in siouxland. nna: employees at woodhouse auto in sioux citithave been fastiti since 7:00 last night, and they've challenged us to do the same to support the food bank of siouxland. we decided to have a little fun with it, too and our abc9 general manager delivered cookies to woodhouse this afternoon. if they don't make

sun is setting on kings pointe storm lake and port neal welding company sky cams hd afafr a windy day. high more normal today at 46, warmer morning at 31. temperatures are chilly in the upper 30s and low 40s. winds still out of the north and west, but much calmer than they were today. tonight, we'll increase clouds as our winter storm approaches, but dry through the early morning at 33 degrees. winter storm watch has been upped to a warning for most of siouxland. quiet now, with some clouds... but that's sure to change. stormcast hd... we increase clouds tonight. tomorrow morning, we'll still be not too bad.. just clouds as you hehe to work and school, so kind of decieving! mid morning we'll start to see that snow fall as the low pressure gets closer. afternoon is our peak time... that's when we'll be getting mostf the snow to accumulate, heaviest snow fall rates and with gusty winds to 20mph, there could be some blowing snow.
