president obama has ordered an investigation intoing whether intelligence reports were doctored to present a rosier picture of u.s. successes against isis. abc's jonathan karl has the details. there are concerns military reports wrrt doctored to paint an overly optimistic fight against isis. there are three investigations into the allegations and president obama says he's asked the pentagon to get to the bottom of whether intelligence on isis has been whitewashed. >> i don't want intelligence shaded by politics. i don't want it shaded by the desire to tell a feel good story. we can't make good policy unless we've got good accurate hard headed intelligence. >> the allegations come from a military intelligence officer and whistleblower at central command which is directing the fight against isis. one example, when isis swept into iraq last year and took

city, the iraqi army left behind equipment and even their uniforms but a draft military intelligence report at the time was edited to say theraqis will simply redeployed to a position outside the city. centcom's commanding general says he's only asked for accurate intelligence. >> have you ever ordered, suggested or hinted to have any of the intelligence command that they should sweeten the intelligence reports in order to portray a more positive view of the success of our efforts in iraq or syria? >> absolutely not senator king. absolutely not. >> jonathan karl, abc news, the white house. want to get to breaking news right now from one of the army's texas. the army confirms a helicopter went down on the base's ranging with four soldiers on board. all four we are told were killed. they were on a routine training

mission. the cause of the crash is unknown and it is opening an investigation into this incident. in indiana, two men arrested for the murder of a young pastor's wife two weeks ago. a crime that shocked the country. officials say it was part of a string of burglaries in indianapolis that day. davy blackburn had left the door unlocked when he went to the gym. his wife amanda was 13 weeks pregnant. her 15-month-old son who was in the house was unharmed. davy blackburn will talk about the arrest later today on "good morning america." >> there's also been an arrest for another headline grabbing shooting, this one in new orleans. medical student peter gold was shot when he saw a woman being dragged down the street and stopped to help. gold remains in guarded condition this morning after being shot in the symptom plaque. the mayor says gold has a difficult recovery ahead. >> this is a hard story. a tragic medical news for one mom and dad in utah. their -year-old daughter has breast cancer.

the 3rd grader scheduled to have surgery next months. her case closely watched by cancer specialists around the world. >> it is a very rare form of breast cancer that it's called secretory carcinoma and only one in 1 million are diagnosed and she's the youngest they had run across having this particular type of breast cancer. >> the sad thing about this, it's not the family's first battle with cancer. mom and net is a cervical cancer survivor. dad a desert storm veteran has been diagnosed with nonhodgkin's lymphoma. the medical bills astronomical. friends have set up a go fund me page to help them out. women who develop diabetes while they were pregnant can benefit from breastfeeding during subsequent pregnancies. researchers say that moms who breast fed for two months had a 50 lower chance of developing gestational diabetes. they also found that the longer a mom breastfeeds, the lower the

blackburn was shot in the back of the head. there's a hearing this morning. and donald trump facing fresh scrutiny this morning for another claim he's making about what he says he witnessed during the 9/11 terror attacks in new york city. those are some of our top stories on this tuesday, november 24th. from abc news, this is "world news now." good morning, everyone. we begin this half hour with new developments and the international manhunt for the alleged eighth suspect in the paris terror attacks. >> he was last seen in brussel sells belgium where a lockdown is in its fourths day. abc's matt gutman is in brussels. >> reporter: the most wanted man in the world, salah abdeslam, still on the run and a new mystery. authorities believe he is not alone. this, as a suicide belt has turned up in a suburb of paris, ten days later. the question tonight -- did it belong to abdeslam?

authorities say his cell phone signal was pinging in the very same suburb. as the hunt for that eighth attacker and his accomplices continues, the belgian prime minister extending that alert of an imminent possible terror attack for another week. brussels, the seat of nato, on lockdown. s.w.a.t. teams in macks srming the neighborhood of molenbeek. among the arrested, a fourth man linked to the paris attacks from this one belgian neighborhood. we watched some of those raids unfold, imbedding with a brussels police officer. >> we're under siege. >> reporter: under siege. it's a war, my friend. >> reporter: driving right up to those road blocks. this whole city is on lockdown. everywhere you go, you see police officers with masks, machine guns. army. >> yes. >> reporter: the center city on lockdown. police warning us -- >> if we start shooting, you're in the cross fire. >> reporter: investigators also confirming that a second bomber, this man, infiltrated europe, posing as a refugee. registering in the greek island

new orleans street. watch as the gunman approaches. moments later, you can see him dragging the woman towards his suv. enter the medical student. there's gold's car. watch as he spots the trouble and races the wrong way down a one-way street to confront the gunman. 21-year-old euric cain is charged with attempted murder. new orleans police say he's confessed to shooting the good samaritan. dr. gold is recovering in the hospital behind me. his family says he's in guarded condition. that woman he helped escape, she has only minor injuries and it might not surprise to you find out dr. gold's friends say he's the kind of guy who always has your back. ryan owens, abc news, new orleans. authorities are investigating laser strikes that hit planes near love field in dallas on suns night. seven were inbound southwest airlines flights. the other was a private plane that's according to the federal aviation administration.

the laser pointing appears to come from the same area about four miles north of the airport. the faa says at least one southwest pilot reported a minor eye injury. a man in georgia suffered severe ankle injuries after stealing a coors light truck from a convenience store. while the driver was making a delivery. he fled police in the truck. then without putting the truck in park he jumped out. he tried to run away. the truck ran over his leg. it ran over his leg causing injuries we mentioned. by the way, the guy accused in the heist of the truck, his last name is miller. >> of course. >> first name is not -- last name is not light though the. >> was his first name bud. >> there you go. did you at least get to have a beer. >> doesn't seem like it. >> poor guy. a man in florida was in the spirit for the new "star wars" movie but h used his costume for the wrong reason. there he is dressed as darth vader holding up convenience store at gunpoint.

and the faa reports that one pilot reported minor eye injury. the two men charged with the murder of a young pastor's wife in indianapolis are due in court this morning. authorities say her death was part of a crime spree, and the suspects face many other charges, as we. a third person may have been involved. abc's gio benitez reports. >> reporter: chahaes filed in the murder of 28-year-old pregnantother amanda blackburn, the wife of a local indianapolis pastor. >> i moved to south carolina with davey. >> reporter: after a 13-day manhunt, police saying 18-year-old larry taylor and 21-year-old jalen watson broke into the blackburn home, stealing a laptop and debit cards after having committed two other burglaries earlier that morning. >> it started with the initial burglary, and evidence from that burglary led us to the subsequent burglaries and then the homicide. >> reporter: amanda's husband, pastor davey blackburn, had left november 10th for the gym,

and watson walked in. then watson and another accomplish drove to the atm, to take $400 out of amanda's account. taylor stayed in the home, later telling friends he shot amanda when she charged at him, so that he wouldn't be scratched, and that he then shot her in the head. when pastor blackburn went into the house at 8:20 a.m., he found his wife with three gunshot wounds. and now police t tl us they have slew of evidence from all of those burglaries proving they have the right suspect. that third alleged accomplice is still under investigation. gio benitez, abc news, new york. a man wrongfully imprisoned 16 years for rape should be soon free. a los angeles judge threw out the conviction of luis vargas based on dna evidence. the crimes of which he was accused now attributed to a serial rapapt never caught. vargas remains in prison on minor immigration issues. his attorney expects those to be

ruling in the battle over abortion. and now. a federal appeals court in wisconsin has ruled unconstitutional a law that would have required doctors who perform abortions to have hospital admitting privileges. the judges said the law endangered women's health. the wisconsin attorney general says he plans an appeal to the u.s. supreme court. the nfl is looking into whether correct procedures were followed when it appears the st. louis s ms quarterback may have suffffed a concussion. case keenum's head slammed into the ground sunday ainst the ravens. he struggled getting up and appeared staggered but stayed in the game. two plays later, he fumbled which led to baltimore's winning field goal. the league is asking why keenum wasn't removed from the game to undergoal required evaluations. it's tough. >> definitely a haha hit there. but since we're talking football and there was a monday night game, it is as good an excuse as any to hear from joe buck's mentor.
