sioux. so you won't'teed to pay admission at an aquarium to get a glimpse of big fish. you're next trip could be to crystal cove park in south sioux city! the city has installed an underwater camera, getting live footage of nine thousand trout, eight hundred catfish, bass, and other large fish species. the cameras send live views back up to the observatory where you can watch warm and cozy from monitors inside. the underwater camera sits fifty feet offshort and almost twenty feet deep. there are also two above water cameras to catch live footage of birds. "in certain times of the spring and fall you can see geese all over this lake, it'll be covered with them, the migratory... not only geese, but also ducks" says gene maffit, parks director for south sioux. south sioux parks director maffit says with one hundrred acres of a clean, healthy ecosystem, there's a lot to learn about. he says the value in the cameras is the ability to learn about what happens when you take care of the environment. "i think there's educational part of this for school kids, but not only school kids... for everyone. they should learn what kind of habitat is out here and how to take care of it, different things like that. and to be able to see it makes you appreciate it more, i think" says gene maffit, parks director for south sioux. the observatory is not open to the public yet, but will be in about thirty days. maffit says he's excited to share the

continue to follow this ststy... tim: sioux city police may have solved a ststng of auto thefts. 28 year old mack- quiber bracka- monte of sioux city was arrested after police say he stole at least 5 cars. police say mack- quiber bracka- monte stole those vehicles between october and december of this year. when police found the vehicles, they had several parts removed and were in the process of beiei stripped. he's charged with multiple counts of felony theft and ongoing criminal conduct. he's being held on a 47 thousand dollar bond. tim: sioux city police say a morning accident invovled a stolen vehicle. according to the p-d, this white van was stolen from south sioux city before 6 a-m this morning the suspect later collided with another white vehicle on outer drive juju across from n nth high school. the driver of the stolen car fled the scene but was later apprehended by police. no other details are available. tim: the sioux city fire department was busy earlier today after construction crews struck a gas line on sioux city's north side. no one was

safety, as well as the public. tim: heroic actions from 2014 are just now landing a local man and his family some special recognition. gary olson from m jefferson south dakota and his family were awarded carnegie medals for heroism yesterday during a ceremony in pittsburg. the olson family recieved the medals becasue of their actions back in may of 20-14 when they helped save a woman from her husband. during that incident the husband fired several gun shot at the family while chasing their car through north sioux city. the family managed to evade the gunmnm until authorities arrived, likely saving the woman's life. tim: the democratic national committee has suspended bernie sanders' presidential campaign from accessing its voter database. this, after the campaign took advantage of a software error to access hillary clinton's confidential voter information. .campaigns usually use that data to plot theirnext moves. the d-n-c database keeps the information gathered by different campaigns separated by a

volleyball team is heading to the n- c-a-a- championship. the huskers beat kansas 3-1 last night, punching their ticket to the finals for the seventh time. all-american kadie rolfzen led nebraska with 14 kills in front of an n-c-a-a-record crowd of 17 thousand, five hundred and fifty one people. for the third time in school history, the huskers played a final four match on their de-facto home court in omaha, winning all three times. big red nation showed up in full force last night, guiding nebraska to the championship behind a wave of support. cecilia hall--"coming out there in front of 17,000 people on your home court, that's just crazy. i think that's what fired us up and i mean, just having that support too it makes it so much fun, you know? like when you get a point the whole crowd goes with you and it's just i don't know. you get so fired up." tomorrow night, the huskers will duke it out with former big-12 rival texas in the title match. there is plenty of history between these two programs and john cook is ready to face the talented longhorns. john cook--"texas has set the bar really high. i mean this is their fifth final four. we've
