" " deborah: good evening and thanks for joining us... i'm deborah souverain. this evening we begin with tragic news out of spencer iowa, where a high school wrestler who collapsed on the mat last night has died. deborah: spencer high school senior austin roberts...passed away at spencer hospital over night. according to school officials....robert s, a 220-pound wrestler, was rushed to the emergency room after collasping on the mat... during spencer high's invitational wrestling tournament. the school's superintendent says the community is in grief over the tragic situation. "not only was austin an accomplished athlete, austin was a good kid and a good classmate and the type of student that wouldn't hurt a flea but was a fierce competitor as well. we are all hurting for austin and his family and for his classmates and for the staff that had an oppounity to work with him and we are just doing what we

the house has been gutted and most of the palmersheims belongings are in their temporary place as they wait for their house to be rennovated so they can move back in. they say it's a new challenge that they are facing, but it's been slightly easier with friends and family to make the holidays go a little more smoother. " we had a tree donated to us and then my mother sent a whole box full of decorations and we still have our elf on the shelf who comes everyday. we'll just spend the holidays with our family," said palmersheim. bria: the family says that everything that's happened to them was completly unexpected, but they're greatful because they know it could've been a lot worse. they palermsheims plan on having their house rennovations completed by this coming spring. reporting live in studio, bria bell abc 9 news. deborah: now turning to
