friday saw a record number of gun sales across the country... and with that came the applications for concealed carry permits. while there were only about 4 point-7 million permits issued in 2007.... crime prevention that number rose to around 12 point 8 million in 20-15 ... and while iowa doesn't require "shoot to qualify" tests... or in-person training to obtain a carry permit.. experts believe it's key.
