jessica rae: a ban on public poultry exhibits due to the 2015 avian flu outbreak has been lifted. the iowa department of agriculture and land stewardship... lifted thean on january first. it was put in place back in may... following unprecedented outbreak of avian flu. over 30 million birds were infected with the disease in iowa.... halting all county and state fair exhibits...including auctions. all infected sites have now been deemed " "u free".
