conversations about politics. at smokey row cafe in des moines.. sips, and sandwiches are accompanied by conversations about candidates. rj 1:56 i lean democrat, i like bernie sanders the best right now. rj lowney would be considered a young iowa voter, that's a group that presidential candidates would like to see more of on caucus night. and rj would like to caucus, but won't be able to because he has to work. but he says sanders supporters aren't giving up on him. rj 3:17 they're a couple people on his campaign that are really pushing me to try to get me in there. bianca hayer and katelyn mcdevitt are college students. they know quite a bit about the candidates and care about who their next president will be, but you probably won't find them at caucus location on parents go, but i least. katelyn 19:31 i'm gonna wait until the compare back and so while some of would like to be just not convenient they care about who will be, but they just right now to make caucus night a top priority. shawn smith 7:50 i plan on caucusing, i haven't made up my mind as far as a candidate. but shawn smith from ankeny does have it marked on his calendar and says he'll be there. this presidential race definitely has his attention. 9:02 my interest level has been more this year than past years just because of the spectacle, the ads, and the mudslinging, and donald trump, who's garnered at lot of attention. jenna:

presidential race, it won't necessarily translate to a good turnout on caucus night. we'll see if that's true, in four more weeks. jenna: and speaking of turnout... it seems some iowans don't really know what it means. only 13 states in the united states still favor the caucus system over primaries. and experts agree that there is a clear reason why iowa should stick with it. " caucus is all about each party choosing their candidate for president. that's pretty darn important. in iowa we have the unique opportunity to meet these people and have them in our homes or go to small events and talk to them." we'll have more on how the caucus works and why it's so important to candidates.. all coming up at 10. jenna: if you're buying medical insurance through the health insurance marketplace, the deadline is the 31st of this month. and, we want to help get your questions answered. coming up tomorow, from 4- 7pm, a a9 is hosting a phone bank.
