jenna: during the press conference, president obama recounted all of the major mass shootings that have occured throughout the past few decades from san bernadino to columbine, there was an emotional moment as he had to stop for a brief moment to gather himself. obama: every time i think about those kids, it gets me m m. and by the way, it happens on the streets of chicago every day. the gourmet apple project is the siouxland humane society's most important fundraiser. all of the apples are handmade by our wonderful community volunteers. this year over 400 volunteers will make apples at the holy trinity greek orthodox church kitchen, starting on sunday, january 31 through february 6, 2016. we are always looking for volunteers, , especially thosese that can work during the mornings and afternoons. the delicious treats are made from large, tart apples that are smothered in caramel, then dipped in milk chocolate and drizzled with white chocolate. finally, the apples
