sorenson....6- yearld autumn sorenson....and 4- year-old braydensorenson. the father, john sorenson was reportedly working at the time of thfire. due to frigid temperatures...fir e fighters had difficulty extinguishing the flames. tonight at ten, we'll have an update on the investigation into what sparked the fire. deborah a group of newell-fonda high school students spent their winter term on a very special project. the group created a film called "equality is reality" ... in it they are dealing with the issue of bullying and trying to raise awareness about the problem. they spent six and a half hours each weekday for two weeks on the film ... and for one of their advisors ... chosing film as their medium was the first step in trying to reach as many peoples possible. "our experience wasashat it has the greatest emotional impact. you can put the music in , it's the visuals ... it's the scary things that they weren't afraid to show." and tonight at 10

from the students... on why this project was so important them ... and how it can make a difference. photo enthusiasts came together today for an exhibit highlighting the beauty of siouxland. "now hold on a cond. don't move..." "too late"e" "out of film?" "no" laughing the event was hosted by the sioux city camera club...at the betty strong encounter center. the "siouxland exhibition"...featur ed a wide ranch of scenes from around the area....from city life...to rural landscapes. two locally produced short films were also shown at the event. the sioux city camera club is more than 100 year old's...and focuses on teaches the best photography techniques. deborah gop presidential hopeful chris chrisite is stumping in iowa today. the new jersey governor held a town hall in le mars... he also stopped right here in sioux city...for a town hall at buffalo alice. we have a crew at the event.... and will have more on his visit tonight at ten.

on the other side of the ce...democratic candidates are in south carolina today preparing for their first debate of the year. candidates bernie sanders...martin 'o malley and hillary clinton.... all made campaign stops in charleston ahead of tonight's debate. the trio attended an annual fish fry saturday...hosted jim clyburn. event...sanders and clinton had very strong words for their republican rivals. (sen. bernie sanders/(d) candidate) "we are not going to let donald trump and the others divide us up. wanting to be our president. tonight will be the fourth time e the candidates meet the debate stage. and coming up later in our show...we'll tell you about a major escalation between g-o-p rivals...donald trump...and his one-time friend ted cruz. deborah today was a historic day for iran. the country is now free from sanctions imposed by the u-s and european nations. iran's president hailed the lifting of crippling economic sanctions. the move came saturday....after a u-n agency verified iran had completed the necessary steps.....in a deal to restrict its nuclear program. in response, president barack obama said this agreement is a good thing for the iranian people. you, especially young iranians, have the opportunity to begin building new ties with the world." this all comes following a prisoner swap deal with iran...freeing four americans.... and a fifth american who was not part of the deal. the freed prisoners arrived in switzerland today. deborah the search continues for 12 missing marines... after what authorities believe was a helicopter crash in hawaii thursday night. coast gaurd officials say the search remains a "rescue" mission...however, strong currents....and large surf is making the rescue effort diffcult. cnn's alexander zannes has more. "as of 8 am this morning rescue crews have covered more than five thousand square nautical miles searchinfor the 12 missing marines... a search that grows more difficult by the hour. lt. scott carr, u.s. coast ard "when you talk about searching om the air, you know, you're a couple hundred feet off the ground. seeing a person in the water, you know, that person...the only thing that would be appearing above them, above

their shoulders." search cre continue to find what they call debris consistent with the type of helicopterernvolved in theherash, but so far no sign of the missing maris. lt. scott carr, u.s. coast guard "there have been a couple life rafts found. there's been a lot of debris found. unfortunately, we have not found any survivors as of right now." the coast guard says the high surfs just one of the challenges. there's also ocean currents which may have sent survivors or debris several miles from the crash area. to deal with that.. the coast guard dropopbuoys to help determine the best places to search. lt. scott carr, u.s. coast guard "we can drift people in a life ft. we can drift various types of things that you might be looking for. that helps us kind of determine where, based on the currents, where things are going." as for how long the search will continue, the coast guard says there isn't a timetable at this point. lt. scott carr, u.s. coast guard "at this poioi, it's still a a arch and rescueueission. and the coast guard and our partner agagcies are going to continue to search and maintain
