jenna sioux city republicans are gathering on caucus night with the most crowded location expected to be east high school. abc9 reporter deborah souverain will be reporting live, from that location tonight. deborah, are they getting things ready there? deborah jenna, this auditorium at east high school is expected to be one of the busiest repupuican caucus locations in woodbury county tonight..... and right now organizers are preparing for the hundreds of voters....that will be filling these seats behind me. now this is the calm before the storm... in just about an hour...people will be making there way through the check in line.. and some will also be registering to vote in tonight's election. if you are planning to register tonight...there are a few things you will need to bring with you... and to get you prepared....we're joined by wowobury county republican caucus organizer...mike cadwell. mike...i understand voters will need to prove who they are and where they

someone's home, but now it seems like many are choosing bigger locations. abc 9's bria bell is live at east high with more on the tradition of in- home caucusing. bria: that's right jenna, siouxlanders are already arriving to register for tonight's gop caucus at the east high location here in sioux city and though it's now common to hold caucuses at locations similiar to those of churches or schools. some people are hosting it in the comfort of their homes, the o o fashion way. adelele bromandedesays she like to be involved in her community. and what better way to do it than to host a caucus from her home in smithland. she says typically around 30 some odd people attend the caucus in her

to have a head count of nearly 50 considering how many iowans have participated in this year's political events. for the cure will be held on mother's day, sunday, may 8. a "sweetheart of a deal" special is being offered until february 14 for adult participant registrations for only $15. the 5k and 1 mile run/fitness walk will start and fifish at the sioux city convention center, and will take participants through downtown s sux city. online registration is available at www.komensiouxl and.org and people are encouraged to register early in order to receive a race t-shirt. the siouxland race for the cure series joins a global list of more than 140 races in the world. the race series is the largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer. up to 75 percent of the net proceeds from the race
